Go somewhere elseRoom 602 and 702 smelled very strong of mold..2nd room was freshly painted and had plugins to cover odor..lady manager had dont care attitude...grounds are not green like pictures posted and need major help..outdated..bed not comfortable.atmosphere like a cheap motel ..units are shocking for upscale area..close to restaurants and shopping... Left after 1 night stay and planned on a week..

MemoriesWe've stayed at the Sandrift for decades and watched it go from a hidden gem to an eye sore. Over the past several years, owners have lost interest in the property as a resort and only thought of it as an investment. The board has been taken over by "the sellers" and no improvements made in over a year. Have been informed the winter season will be its last and the property has been sold to a developer. If you've a reservation, might want to demand a lesser price or go elsewhere. Once a great family vacation has been sold off as investors demand their money. What a shame.

Horrible Horrible Horrible !!!!!!!!!Booked for the week of Christmas to stay near family, ruined my whole vacation. We checked in ,although after one look at the outside I knew I wasnt going to stay. Dumpy motel, smelled horribly of Mold , I am allergic to mold. Ants in the bathtub, dirt on the floor. Disgusting ,dirty furniture. When to the front desk to ask them for another room. The woman said we have no other clean rooms, you have to call RCI. She sent a man over to spray some liquid into the AC wall unit ....what the hell is that ?? I told my husband we are leaving. Worst part is the I called RCI and they did NOTHING. I was on the phone over an hour trying to get a hotel room.Called RCI next day to get some help, only VM and nobody has returned my call. RUINED MY CHRISTMAS VACATION, THANKS FOR NOTHING RCI.

Very disappointedWe have stayed at Sandrift for the past 5 years the week of July 4th. This is the 1st time that we left in the middle of the night to go home because it was so bad. Roaches not palmetto bugs through out unit. Roach bait traps in the cabinets and dead roaches left inside cabinets and bed. Very large live roaches in the bathroom, bedroom and living room. Melissa the manager gave me a can of bug spray even though we complained twice and tried to say they were just Palmetto bugs. I've lived all my life in Florida and they are not Palmetto bugs. Cabinet doors were also coming off the hinges in the bathroom. Paint peeling in bathtub.
