  Great place to stay directly on the beach

  This was a fabulous place to stay on the beach front with two dogs and a man in a wheelchair. The beach was marvellous. The self contained cabins had everything one would need. The welcome hamper with fresh bread, milk, muesli and new laid eggs was a wonderful idea. I hope we can return one day!

  Great Bicheno accommodation

  Fell deeply and beautifully in love with Bicheno and cant say enough about our cabin at Sandpiper Ocean Cottages. Our cottage was large, really large, with two big bedrooms a huge open plan lounge, dining and kitchen area and with a lively deck. The cottages are up off the beach but its a really short walk away..and its a gorgeous stretch of sand. The town is just a few minutes drive away. If you want to relax in a stunningly beautiful location and in really good quality accommodation then definitely give Sandpiper Ocean Cottages a go.

  Beachfront Heaven

  What an amazing place .... close to the beach which is stunning .... beautiful cosy cabin with log fire and welcome hamper, hosts are extremely welcoming and everything is catered for.... a totally unique experience.

  Great spot as base to explore east coast

  We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sandpiper Ocean Cottages. Everything was very clean and comfortable. The cottage was really well appointed with everything needed for a long stay if desired. There is privacy created with shrubs planted between each cottage. We had a little family of Paddymelons that visited us each night right in front of our cottage. The beach is beautiful and we enjoyed evening walks, there is a path right from the cottages through some low dunes. The highlight for me was an indoor fire place. Coming from hot, steamy Brisbane it was a delight to have an evening in Dec cool enough for a fire.

  They have thought of everything!

  We all loved our stay here and would have loved to be able to stay longer. The beach was magnificent and each time we were there there was no-one else there. Sandpiper even have boogie/surf boards available to borrow. There is a lovely breakfast hamper. The cottages are really lovely and private. There is honestly nothing more you need than is already provided. Sad to leave tomorrow. Would definitely stay again.
