  More maintenance required

  I stayed at this hotel just for a night, got me a place to sleep to continue my trip in the morning. The hotel is very quite on saturday night, even it is located in the middle of a busy road. Hotel surroundings are business areas and public transport is easy to get. The hotel is very old, with old AC and TV. Limited tv channel and unfortunately I got no view at all from my room. It is equipped with bath tub however I would not use it as I saw pile of hairs clogging at the tub outlet. Water leaking from the toilet and flooding at the toilet floor. I believe this is an old heritage hotel with large rooms but limited budget for repair or rehab. I would not recommend this kind of room for families, and the price is cheap because you would not get a 4 star convenience here.

  Comfort Ol Skool Hotel

  been here at 2017 easter vacation. pros: - check in process is so easy. bring my e-voucher and show it to a full of smile reception team - the location is very good! (just few step away from downtown) - swimming pool. (lil bit dirty). whirlpool also there. - welcome drink - wood crafted ceiling at lobby (i like it very much) - AirCon is great! - extra pillow on cupboard available - extra humble senior hotel team. - lift until 7th floor (ol timer lift and working great) - few steps away - hot and cold water on the shower and tub 24hrs. cons: - smell as an ol time hotel - dark room alley - wooden floor i guest. (as we step, TV is also rocking) - not a sound proof room, (we can hear other guest chat when passing our room) - small parking lot smelly, a bit. but, when we stay at hotel, we just sleep and eat. not stay too long. no problem.

  Oldie but goodie

  Visited Palembang during the closing of Asian games and all the hotels were full. and voila the only hotel available was this hotel. when i reach the hotel i was surprised, what kind of hotel is this!! Check in was so smooth, i got my key and go to the 3rd floor, yess i can feel the vibe of old hotel. when i entered my room, it was like what i had in mind. the room is spacious and there was a bathtub as well very surprising. breakfast was good according to the rate i am paying, and swimming pool was full of children. it was a lovely stay, instead of one night, i extend my stay to two nights.

  The Historic Hotel in Palembang

  Palembang is the second biggest city in Sumatera island. It has been developing as one of an attractive tourist destination. Some an international big events have been held in the city. One of the very important facilities to support tourism activities is a hotel. Palembang has a very historic hotel that has been operated more than fifty years ago. The hotel's name is Sandjaja Hotel. It is the oldest star class hotel in Palembang. The hotel lies in strategic or protocol area near the governor office. From the hotel we just ten to fifteen minutes to go to Ampera bridge, the very phenomena Palembang icon or landmark. We can visit Masjid Agung, Public Straggle Monument, Enam Belas Ilir traditional market, also Kemaro island from this area just by walking. The Sandjaja is not modern hotel. The building and its facilities is not new again, but as a traditional hotel we can stay in big room with about 48 meter square area. It is very suited for family. About the price, the hotel is very useful budget for our family. Regarding on the service, the hotel feels a little uncomfortable, but comparable to the relatively cheap hotel rates.

  lost its glory

  Old hotel at the center of city. Staff was old and grumpy face all the way. Locals used it for its swimming lessons and cheap membership gyms. Gloomy dark lobby. Pool water was green. Pool staff was rude. Toilets were stained and smelly.
