    Our second stay

    The place is a pleasure to stay at. The units are spotless, very private, well equipped and the owner Doctor is very hands on. If you want somewhere to stay to visit the Kruger Park, Sand River cottages is ideal. Will be back in December....

    Stop-0ver at Sand River Cottages.

    On our way to a destination close to Paul Kruger gate into Kruger National Park we needed a place to stay overnight so that we would be able to make an early-ish start the next day. We found Sand River Cottages when browsing the web & read the comments from people who had stayed there before. All comments were positive, so we made a reservation there. On arrival we were met by Doctor & his wife -- what lovely friendly people !!! They were ever so polite & helpful which made us feel welcome & settled right from the word go. The accommodation is quite basic , but adequate. Our chalet was spotlessly clean & had all the basic necessities, whether you want to self cater or simply use the accommodation for sleeping over. Doctor & his wife were delightful & their friendliness & helpfulness convinced us we would certainly use their chalets again!

    SAND RIVER EXPERIENCE

    Difficult to find - but eventually got there. All very good except the airconditioning unit that dump a flurry of ice on us during the night (12:30) The staff all very friendly. Room good - not much of a view In and out a little challenging

    The place is very beautiful and relaxing and the host attends to your needs within seconds, so friendly and love-able and free to stay in. We loved it more than anything and value for money we loved it

    This was our second time booking at Sand River cottages and as usual they did not disappoint. The host was very helpful and accommodating, the place was neat and clean as always. Will definitely visit again.
