Rental and timeshareLove this place. We've been staying here for over 10 years, ended up buying a week a couple of years ago. Small, quaint hotel for those not wanting the crowd. Pool just remodeled...very friendly staff

Great small resort on the beachVery relaxed, fun place. Just 18 units with a great pool and hot tub, and one of the best beaches in Florida. Walking distance to Sailfish Marina, inlet, restaurants and shops. Very friendly staff - they provide beach chairs, beach towels, gas grills and bikes. LOVE staying here.

TimeshareJust returned from another relaxing week at this gem of a getaway. The weather didn't cooperate part of the week, but who could complain when in these surroundings and with this great staff. The new COVID guidelines were more than adequate and we felt comfortable the entire stay.

Great ResortI came across this resort through Armed Forces Vacation Club and I made reservations to stay a week. Glad I did because we enjoyed this resort so much. Nice clean two bedroom with a upstairs balcony area. The resort rooms are a little smaller but the appearance is very pleasing. The location is great, just a few minutes walk to a couple of very nice restaurants and ice cream shop. Approx. 100 feet natural path to the beach. Will recommend to others and will stay again when in West Palm Beach. Great staff and very friendly.

A reminder of an old Florida vacation! We recently stayed at the Sand Dunes Resort on Singer Island in West Palm Beach. If you are accustomed to staying at swanky resorts, let me warn you; the name is a little misleading. The resort is a collection of timeshare condos with a modest sized pool and small hot tub. In my humble opinion, by the outer appearance, you would think more upscale motel than resort. Nonetheless, we had a great stay, especially since this was our first overnight trip since Covid started. The resort is a slightly dated but a fairly well-maintained one, sandwiched between two opulent but seemingly empty resorts. The contrast allows you to appreciate what old Florida beach towns must have been like. In fact, the open rooftop on the 3-story building is a real classic throwback to simpler times. Along the walkway from the hotel to the beach, there is a cute cabana area. Im still slightly puzzled why anyone would use this area since the only views are of the other cabanas and the cabanas dont even face the beach. I loved the fact the resort has a small private beach that's a short walk down the path to the private beach. This was another plus in the age of Covid. It was a nice, quiet and calm beach. A great way to avoid the crowds. The unit had a small but fully functional kitchen. I reviewed the sanitation information they provided and took my own additional precautions. (Lysol wipes, Lysol spray and prayers!) Knowing the unit had a kitchen, I packed some of my own seasonings, brought some food from home, placed an Instacart order and cooked most of our meals. It was a perfect way to balance out our concerns about eating at crowded restaurants and my husband appreciated the home cooked meals during the week. Through the resort, you can use Tommy Bahama beach chairs and the costs is included with the cost of the rental. In addition to these, you can rent chairs and an umbrella on the beach for about $40 a day. It was a bit expensive but worth it to be able to enjoy a whole day at the beach. Overall, we enjoyed the Sand Dunes. Two ways they could improve the resort is by improving the internet. I constantly got messages about moving closer no matter WHERE I was in the resort or in the room. That was frustrating.
