  great and stylish in Timmendorfer Strand

  wonderful hotel, great feeling and warm atmosphere. Yet trendy and modern. the beds (cocomat) are really great. We had a maisonette at the top-floor: magnificent view over the Baltic sea. A nice balcony allowed sitting outside. The bathroom was not at the same level as the rest of the hotel: very basic, yet clean. With a slightly different layout and use of warmer materials, this would increase the overall-perception increasingly. Further: an outside-bar would be a great plus. It would attribute to the lounge-atmosphere the hotel has and would surely target at a hip and modern public. The breakfast was ok, the parking-place is large and not expensive. This hotel has a great upward-potential when it would adjust some aspects (bathroom, outside club-feeling). It has the potential to become the most trendy place in Timmendorfer Strand. I loved the personnel: very honest, direct and friendly. Felt immediately at home.

  El hotel tiene una excelente ubicación. Las habitaciones son muy amplias y con todo lo necesario para hacer que la estancia sea muy cómoda y agradable. La cocina es excepcional y siempre tienen opciones para las personas con restricciones. El personal es de lo más amable y siempre dispuesto a complacer al cliente. Sin duda volveré.

  Great Hotel with Fabulous Service and Location

  The hotel is located across from the beach and some rooms (higher floors) have an ocean view. Our room and the rest of the hotel were impeccably clean and well designed. One note: As another reviewer mentioned, our room (located in the newer part of the hotel) also didnt have a door separating the sleeping area from the bathroom. It wasnt an issue for us but I can definitely see the inconvenience of the lack of privacy, when sharing a room with a friend. Clearly, they were still in the process of putting the final touches on the room but a heads-up would have been appreciated. Other than that, the staff was truly amazing and eager to make our stay a wonderful experience. The bike rental was a great feature and we enjoyed exploring the area using the beach promenade! The breakfast buffet was delicious and offered a great variety of foods. We also had dinner at the restaurant one night and I highly recommend it! Everything was meticulously prepared and simply delicious! I can also echo previous comments about the weak WiFi signal and the limited room storage available during longer stays. However, we truly enjoyed or stay at Hotel Sand and are looking forward to returning!

  A perfect stay in a clean & well designed trendy hotel

  We would like to recommend this hotel. It recently has been modernized to a clean, modern, trendy beach hotel. The hotel a nice bar area where we had an excellent G&T. We stayed for two nights and had dinner at the hotel the first night, which was very good. Rooms are modern with all necessities available. Breakfast is very good. Even though it was a full house, the staff made sure that the buffet was available for all guests.
