Classic comfortable Georgian HomeVery comfortable and homey, on a quiet street just outside Ennis. Our host was very gracious. Internet and safe parking made this the perfect rest spot. The home was lovely, with a rose garden. We felt we were staying in a real Irish home, a great room for value.

RecommendableFriendly host, great service. Room was very pretty, including hairdryer and tv. Host recommended a top restaurant to us and served great breakfast. There is an electric shower that requires some getting used to but works just fine. Shampoo and shower gel were provided.

More than just accomodataionsTerry made us feel welcome and right at home. The bedroom was spacious and clean; comfortable bed and nice bathroom. The Irish breakfast was exceptionally good and Terry was very helpful in recommending a place to eat after our arrival as well.

After late arrival in area, lucky to find such a comfortable B&B cum welcoming hostessWe were compelled by events back home to cut short our most recent Irish engagement. In so doing, we made hast from County Galway to Ennis for a last night's sleep proximate to our early Shannon departure. Our first three area stops found excessive pricing or no room available, given a relatively late hour for such efforts. We were about to concede priorities when an impulsive pull over and questioning of a young woman walking home happily directed us to her own mother's B&B which yet had one room available. The location was perfect relative to an early morning flight schedule. Our slightly edgy - in a most charmingly bantering old world way - hostess runs a classic period perfect Georgian accommodation in a peaceful setting. Our room was excellent, breakfast was most satisfying and the price a good value compared to our other potential rush options. Sanborn House and Terry represent the best of what's straightforward, personality driven and delightfully engaging in Ireland. Thanks to a lovely daughter on a later evening's trek as well for putting us in the right direction.

Older home, cannot walk to centerI stayed here for one night in Ennis before visiting cliffs of moher. It is clean but very old and the main floor smells badly of smoke. The host is kind and the room is clean. Although the home is not that near Ennis town center. Would not stay here again.
