AwfulWe travelled to this hotel for a school trip around northern Italy. The hotel acted as a base to explore the northern half. I along with my classmates had numerous problems with this hotel and it's staff. We arrived at the hotel around 6 and we were given the keys to the room swiftly, it was clear that they had dealt with school tours in the past so I deemed them as professional. I was staying in a room with three individuals, the room was very basic but offered a stunning view of the lake. Showering : We had to build a wall of towels to stop the water leaking out into the room as the drains were not capable of removing the water quick enough, Beds : Next door to us upon arrival one of our classmates raised concern about stains in their sheets, these "stains" were not coffee or tea stains these were different... However the beds were "Okay", they were basic but you get what you paid for and I'm guessing they didn't spend too much money on the hotel rooms. Food : The food was something we all hated while we were there, On the first night we were given this cold pasta dish (it was supposed to be hot) and if you didn't like pasta you didn't have any other option. Then on the second night we were offered this circular piece of steak that wasn't cooked all the way through. Eating dinner there became a task which one doesn't look forward to. Staff : The staff were ignorant throughout our stay, as we are Irish it is common for us to say "Hello" as we passed by members of staff, however we were ignored each time. I was late to dinner one evening and I asked a staff member where was the dining room and I was given a dirty scowl and no reply as she looked back down at whatever she was doing. Location : The hotel's location is awful, If your not with a tour company or a school trip I wouldn't recommend coming here at all. It's a great stop off for one night, but if you looking to stay the week there, I would highly advise against it. It is in the middle of nowhere and ever place we visited was about an hour away. Conclusion : In conclusion I would not advise staying in this hotel. It's staff were ignorant, it's facilities were poor and the food was awful.

Staff and Food is very badI came here on a school trip at the start of May 2019. The Hotel itself is clean and the interior and exterior is nice in the lobby and bar area. The view is absolutely beautiful looking down on Lake Garda and the opposite mountains, luckily my friends and I got a balcony room facing the nice view. The AstroTurf was put to good use by my classmates. We couldnt use the swimming pool as we got home too late from activities every day and the pool closed at 7pm. Dinner was absolutely disgusting. We didnt get a choice of what we could eat, which became a big problem for the vegan, vegetarian and Celiac students. For every starter you are given pasta and sauce, they didnt even have a gluten free pasta option for the celiacs, so they were given crackers and plain ricecakes for the 4 days for their starters. The main course consisted of meat and a carbohydrate every day which I didnt find appetizing any day I was there. For dessert you got ice cream each day. It was also very unpleasant when we could hear one of the staff members beating the meat for the dinner before it was cooked, from the kitchen to where we were eating at the other side of the room. Breakfast consisted of cereal and bread and if you didnt like them youd be having no breakfast, the food was tasteless but was edible when youre hungry. The Staff- the staff in this hotel were extremely rude and disrespectful people. One girl went to the bathroom before we received our dessert and when she came back she was told she wasnt allowed get her dessert because she wasnt sitting at her seat. One of the celiac girls got shouted at by the manager of the hotel for not having her No glutine sign with her at the table even though she had left it there from the meal before. This is no way to treat people who have paid to stay in your hotel. The bedrooms- were basic but clean and we couldnt complain about them. The bathroom- clean and basic yet again, although the towels were made of a strange almost linen material and had many brown stains on them, from tan Im presuming. To sum it up, the Hotel itself is lovely but the food and staff are extremely poor and they should really consider becoming more polite and getting more appetizing food. If you are coming here on a school trip I would recommend you bring your own snacks if you are a picker eater like I am, or have any tastebuds at all.

Fabulous hotelStayed in Hotel San Zeno Lake Garda with a group of 113 people while on a school tour in Venice Verona and Lake Garda. The hotel is magnificent for the following reasons. Welcoming helpful courteous management and hotel staff. Spotlessly clean bedrooms. Comfortable bedrooms. Beautiful dining room and top quality food. Food was excellent for breakfast and dinner. Really peaceful relaxed atmosphere. Beautiful views of Lake Garda. I highly recommend this hotel. Thank you to all staff and management.

Beautiful location, rubbish food!We stayed at this hotel for our school trip to Italy and found that it had an outstanding view of the lake and the pool was situated on the edge of the hotel so the view was always in sight! However, it then starts to go downhill. Firstly the rooms were clean but very dated and there was always a fear our stuff was going to be taken! The food was absolutely appalling, the pasta was terrible, the meatballs tasted like horse and the chicken was so raw, my friend threw it out of the window as it was still moving. As long as eat outside of the hotel in lazise, you will have a wonderful stay.

Amazing views let down by terrible staffOverall, the views from the hotel were remarkable. It was truly breathtaking. Local area was gorgeous and authentically Italian. Room was adequate- had all that we needed. Hotel was nicely decorated and the food was great. However, the biggest issue I felt I had was with the staff. They were very inconsiderate and rude towards me and my peers. At one time, my friend was refused dinner due to their allergy, and was scolded by a staff member for not having their allergy sign up on the table (although they had not been given one prior to this happening.) The staff made us feel as though we were walking on eggshells, and I felt as though we were given dirty glares rather often. Furthermore, we lost several items of clothing throughout the holiday, which were never returned to us despite being told the housekeepers had taken them. Overall it didn't put a dampen on the holiday as we still loved our stay and the area. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience and can only hope to go back one day.
