  Very comfortable for a stay in Pisa

  Escape the hoards of tourists in the centre and give yourself a bit of space, and a pool, by staying in an apartment at San Rossore. The 2 bed apartment we had was well equipped, spacious and light. Furnished in a minimal white style with one double and one twin room it met all our needs. The outdoor pool is large enough and provided a welcome place to relax and cool off. Minor niggles with the pillows (only one and quite thin) and no towel for the kitchen, but everything else excellent. Friendly reception team. Only a short drive (around 1.5km) to the leaning tower, walkable if it's not stiflingly hot.

  Amabilidad, tranquilidad, comodidad.

  Se trata de un grupo de apartamentos muy tranquilos, situados junto a una zona residencial, que están suficientemente equipados (aunque sin una gran generosidad) y, en general, resultan bastante cómodos. Sobre todo, muy limpio, algo que se agradece. Es un complejo familiar agradable, a un paso de la ciudad y del aeropuerto. El personal fue muy amable y nos esperó, aunque nos habíamos pasado de la hora del check-in. Repetiríamos.

  What a perfect place to stay for a break!

  Well, do NOT read the other reviews. They are old and dated and not right at all. This place is beautiful. We stayed 4nights apartment was lovely and spacious and had everything you need for self catering. They provide hairdryer, towels and some small toiletries also. The pool is beautiful , theyve had it completely redone, theres loads of space for sun beds, the pool is warm and stunning ( see pics) and we spent a lot of time here. There is free WiFi so we listened to music and totally relaxed. We had breakfast on with our apartment which was fantastic as you didnt need to worry or wake up early,this was 830-1030am He restaurant though... stunning!!!!! Our last meal here and it was brilliant. The chef is lovely, explained everything and the standard was top class London restaurant food. So very impressed . And wish we had eaten here more. The owners speak little English and try to communicate as we do in poor Italian! They waited up for us as our flight was late and even gave us a lift into town when we couldnt get a taxi!!! The shop is a 5 min walk away along with another bar. The place is a 25 walk from the tower which we did once but at 36 degrees a killer!!! Taxis range from 8-12 euros The city can be done in a day and we found restaurants ok and on average , for two people around 50 euros. The taxi system is not very good in Pisa so be prepared to ring one and wait but its all part of the experience. All in all an absolutely top class holiday and we will be back to this place to stay ...maybe not even to go back to the city!!!

  short break in pisa

  we had a 4 night stay it had everything we needed clean, kitchen was ample for us to cook air conditioned rooms spare pillows in the wardrobes available if needed it was lovely to relax by the pool after our walks, can't fault the stay at all .Restaurant and bar available ,walking distance to shops 30mins walk to leaning tower of Pisa .Really easy to get there from Galilei airport get the Pisa mover to the train station then the No. 6 bus to Barbarancina which stops outside the Residence San Rossore, very helpful owners will love to go back in the future. Thank you for a really enjoyable trip

  Noisy and uncosy

  To be honest, this place needs to rethink a little bit what they want to be. The apartment was clean and spacious, however the outside area was a bit dirty and really small. At least two other apartments used our outside area to get to their apartments. The pool area is nice and the pool is clean. The staff left a bit to be desired, however the young guy really tried his best. The two others gave us the impression that they really did not like guests which is a bit odd considering the business they are in. The place must be the absolutely most noisy place I have ever visited. When we were there they arranged some kind of childrens park two of the days. The sound level was intense. What on earth did they think when arranging this kind of camp and at the same time having guests paying a premium price.
