  Country side hotel

  You can enjoy histrical country side atomosphere in the hotel. This place used to be Monastery. Very quiet environment. From the garden, you can see beautiful mountains. There is restaurant inside the hotel. Food was very good. You can feel very secluded, quiet, and relaxed.

  Lovely relax in the middle of Umbria

  Everything was just wonderful during our stay. The place is located twenty minutes from Todi, in a beautiful countryside, surrounded by vineyards, olive groves and sunflowers. Staffs kindness and facilities made everything perfect.

  Those nuns knew how to live!

  This is an old convent beautifully restored to a high standard for discerning guests. In a tranquil hillside location near Massa Martana, in Umbria. The ambiance is very relaxing,and theres plenty of parking. The access road is a bit of a challenge, as are many white roads in the region. On arrival, it is obvious that there is a treat in store. I had lunch with friends, and although we waited a while, it was all freshly cooked so worth the wait. The menu is a little different from usual, but in a good way. There is a large conservatory, and there are often events taking place, so a booking is a good idea. I havent seen the rooms but judging from the rest of the decor Im sure they are lovely. Only one little niggle, the staff were not very welcoming.

  A great peaceful hiding place.

  If you hvae to find a luxury hiding place in an old monastery. San Pietri Residence is jut the place for you. Besides it i is excellent residet with Spa the Restaurant kitcjen is fantastic. Friendly saff with nice service,

  A piece of heaven in the italian hills.

  We are so happy to have stayed in this beautiful place. We could wax lyrical about its calm, beautiful historical features, but wouldnt do it justice. From moment i made the reservation 18 months ago i was filled with absolute confidence that i had made right decision.Ilaria, katia and Pauloa are the epitony of the perfect reception staff. Friendly, helpful and efficient; even in the face of an embarrassing error (on my part) at the last minute, they were so professional. Rooms: comfortable large beds, unexpectedly powerful showers and gorgeous original features. Facilities: the pool and surrounding area is a relaxing oasis. Spotlessly clean, including the shower and toilets. Food: we ate dinner twice and we heartily recommend. Delicious, local dishes, decent portion size and very good value for money. Staff: there is only a small day to day staff at the hotel, which gives it a lovely sense of familiarity; we liked this. Every member of staff we interacted with was friendly, helpful and professional. A special mention of Christina in the restaurant who was very patient deciphering my families strong Scottish accents at dinner. One point to mention...We were attending a wedding nearby and we werent driving; so had to rely on the local taxi service; which was reliable and fairly priced, I would say that to fully appreciate the area a car is beneficial, though not essential. We absolutely loved our stay here and i fully intend to return with my husband.
