  Acogedor

  Es un hotel no muy grande y pintoresco. Ubicado en un edificio antiguo, con un patio precioso. Pavimento original. Esta lleno de rincones acogedores como un salón frente a la recepción. La habitación muy grande, baño grande y cómodo. En mi caso una terraza con una mesa y sillas y vistas al jardín. Desayuno completo y casero parcialmente. Personal amable. Limpio y silencioso. El único pero, la ubicación no es muy céntrico.

  Bella!

  Lovely old converted tannery building on the edge of town, but don't be concerned they are a short walk from one of the scala mobile escalators which service this beautiful hill town. My room was large and nicely furnished with good bed and shower. Nice variety at the well prepared breakfast buffer. The staff were friendly and very helpful. We had a delightful three nights here.

  Hotel was perfect!

  Our last night in Tuscany before boarding a cruise ship was spent here. What a great choice! Bright, cheery and comfortable property. Our greeting was so nice and helpful. The parking garage worked just fine. The room was wonderful with our own small balcony. The bath was large and really clean. It is a five minute walk to the amazing moving staircase to the top of the hill (free and clean) with stops all the way up to the top. Great recommendation for lunch and where to walk from the front desk. We would return and highly recommend this property.

  Beautiful hotel with excellent customer service!

  First of all I want to talk about my experience with the hotel prior to our arrival. The Manager, Federica is a perfect model for professionalism and customer service. She and I had frequent contact before we arrived as our trip planning process evolved and she worked with me through numerous date modifications always with the utmost care and professionalism. We were not at all surprised that the rest of the staff was equally professional and customer focused once we arrived. We received excellent information about the area and advice and reservations at the best restaurants in the old town. The staff in the breakfast room were on top of things as well offering custom ordered coffees, delicious hot and cold entrees including local meats, cheeses, and sweets. The property itself is stunning in its beauty both in the courtyard and lobby and seating area. Our room had a king bed and large bathroom and courtyard view. We were very pleased with the plush towels and the large shower which accomodated my 6'3" tall husband. We only stayed three nights but wish we had stayed longer. The location was a great base for visiting some of the other small Umbrian hill towns and the walk around the aquaduct at the top of the old town is not to be missed. My husband and I agree that the best food we ate on our two week trip to Lazio, Tuscany, Umbria and Le Marche was in the town of Spoleto. We will defiitely be back and we will stay here again. Federica and her staff are to be commended for their excellent service and maintenance of this beautiful property. Please note the property is hidden behind a beautiful old wall. A GPS will tell you you have arrived but you will not see the property due to the wall. Simply continue your drive into Girabaldi Square and take the immediate right down a very narrow alley along an old stone wall. The hotel is a short ways down the street. You won't miss if you follow this recommendation.

  Superb quality hotel in beautiful Spoleto

  We stayed in the San Luca as we do every year and once again we felt so much at home here ! The hotel is beautifully decorated, as are the rooms, there is a garden and a fountain courtyard (breakfast in summer !), everything is perfectly clean and well maintained, excellent breakfast (rolls, croissants, cheeses, fresh fruit, meats, eggs, good italian coffee etc etc), all staff are kind and helpful and owners Federica and Carlo will do everything they can to make your stay a success. This is one of the very best hotels in Umbria and around ! We will be back !!
