  So warm and inviting

  We stayed at San Filis for 7 nights and absolutely loved it. It is a boutique hotel with very friendly and helpful staff, Stefania was a treasure! The rooms are spacious and clean with all mod cons and the beautiful courtyard has so much character. There is a real attention to detail here and although we were away for dinner each night, the restaurant seemed very popular and the food looked great. There is a small pool that gets sunshine all day and all you can hear are the birds! I would advise renting a car as there is free parking and San Felice is a good place from which to travel to other large towns for day trips around the Lake. We would highly recommend a stay here if you want to experience an authentic Italian village and a hotel with character and integrity.

  Very Nice Small Hotel

  This is a very beautiful hotel that has some very welcoming and friendly staff. The breakfast was a continental type with toast, boiled eggs, meats, cheeses etc. I had a single room that had one of only a few awesome balconies. The pool is nice to relax by in the day but is not deep enough to attempt diving of any sort. A great feature of the hotel is that they have bicycles for you to use for free. We used these and they were great fun for a day. The hotel is pretty much centred in the village so restaurants are literally round the corner. There was an older gentleman that may have been the hotel owner. He would sometimes appear in front of you as you turned around which was a bit odd at times. The resident cat is absolutely amazing!

  Quaint little horel

  We very much enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The pool area was small, private and traditional and the courtyard and lobby was really beautiful. It was quiet, tucked away and just what you want for a romantic trip. The rooms are a little dark and old fashioned and the breakfast could have been a little better, but for the price paid this hotel was lovely. For food, Id recommend La Dispensa - pricey but really good quality! We also enjoyed walks down to the lake.

  Great hotel in San Felice, will be going back

  We stayed at Hotel San Filis for five nights during our honeymoon in August 2019. The stay was great, especially because of the friendly and helpful staff. We felt welcomed from the second we arrived on the property to when we checked out and got a nice goodbye greeting from the staff and all the animals in the hotel written on the receipt. Speaking of the animals, one cannot mention Hotel San Filis without mentioning Guiliano, the hotel cat. Guiliano seems to spend his days lounging in the courtyard or other places in the hotels, and is one of the small things that gives the hotel its special atmosphere. The hotel is generally animal-friendly, and we saw both guests and staff bringing their dogs. The hotel is located in an old villa in the centre of San Felice del Benaco, with a beautiful courtyard and a garden with a swimming pool for when you don't feel like going to the nearby beach. The hotel restaurant is also great, which made us choose to dine there several evenings during our stay, even though there were several good restaurants nearby. If you want to explore Lake Garda, the hotel also rents out electric boats that are a great way of experiencing the lake. All in all, the hotel exceeded our expectations, and we will be coming back here for sure. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

  Great place to stay in San Felice

  We have stayed for 5 days in Hotel San Filis, city is very small and every thing is near by walking even Garda Lake. The hotel has ancient design with great breakfast included, there is also a garden and a swimming pool outside. Hotel offer free bike renting service, and luxury restaurant for dinner. Staff is very friendly and always there to help
