  Wonderful customer service, clean rooms and great atmosphere.

  My boyfriend and I stayed in room 1035 and had a great view of the pool below and some pleasant (and not noisy at all) freeway traffic, looking out towards the ocean. Jack Manning went above and beyond to make sure our stay was just as we hoped. Additionally, the front desk staff and bar staff at the restaurant were very pleasant and also went above and beyond to accommodate us. The room was spotless, bed was SO comfortable and the shower had hot water with great pressure. I especially enjoyed the fact that our room had individually wrapped Q tips (I always forget to bring them on trips), and great smelling shampoo/ conditioner. The snacks and drinks available for purchase in the lobby were convenient. They had alcohol for purchase, which was a plus since we were on vacation and in the mornings the Starbucks was open downstairs as well. I got my typical vanilla latte and am happy to say it was delicious. All of this great service was amplified by how all of the staff wore masks and made sure the hotel was clean to keep guests safe from COVID-19. I felt very comfortable staying at this hotel, and would recommend this hotel to my family and friends when they visit Del Mar/San Diego.

  Vacation

  The customer service rep Brian Fuller was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. We had to change rooms due to a minor issue and we had no problems get it done. Awesome job Brain we will definitely be book here again.

  Great touch

  Have to thank Jack the manager he really looked out for me and all my needs and went the extra mile, and Maddy was a joyful help, thank you for making a first responder feel welcome, we totally be back!

  Excellent hotel, clean, beautiful room, great rate, professional and friendly staff

  This past week I stayed at the San Diego Marriott Del Mar for two nights while doing some construction on my home just up the street. I had never stayed at this particular Marriott, and I was pleasantly surprised at the Beautiful hotel, the clean and modern rooms, and the excellent hotel staff. The Incredibly professional and friendly staff I interacted with were Jack, Sarah, and Amanda. All of the employees were following the COVID-19 protocols, and my interactions with the staff at the San Diego Marriott Del Mar were very pleasant, and I cant say enough about their excellent customer service. I got a great rate on priceline, and I will definitely do a staycation there again, especially when things are back to normal and all the amenities are open, its a beautiful hotel, a lovely lobby, and the restaurant looks very cool.   Great stay and location!

  My fiancee and I stayed at the San Diego Marriott Del Mar over Valentine's Day weekend. And while COVID-restrictions were still in place, the staff provided wonderful warm and cheerful hospitality to us throughout the stay. The hotel went through a recent renovation and the look and finishes were very modern. It was the perfect respite for Valentine's Day weekend and ideally situated for the places we wanted to visit (including Torrey Pines Beach and La Jolla). They had a Starbucks counter on site and I was able to access their meeting room for work and to take calls. The facilities were in excellent and clean condition and you could tell that the staff took pride in delivering a safe but inviting environment. We will definitely come back and stay again when we are visiting San Diego. Thank you to the entire staff for making us feel welcomed! I also hear that they will be programming their sushi bar soon - so, a great option to have on site. Best, James
