  ALL IN ONE

  I'n fact there are two beaches side by side at the same place. One belongs to the hotel and the other to a restaurant. If you stay at the hotel, things are easier and comfortable. The best thing about Gagou Beach is its location; you are in the center of the most beautiful city (to me) of the Island. The sea is clean and waveless, you can even walk to down town, you can order beverages while lying down on yor sunbed. What else?

  Week in Samos

  On a quiet pebbly beach (sunbeds & towel 2 Euros per day), easier to get into water in middle of beach BTW. 15 mins walk into centre of Samos Town. Nice position, small but well furnished rooms with great views, balconies get PM sun. Food good but let's itself down as whilst by reception on Floor 1 a lovely bar area and seating it isn't used; instead they use a corner of the food servery on Floor 0. Booked with TUI and also disappointed that single supplement was £400, this is really too much.

  Samos 2019

  Initially bypassed this hotel when looking for our holiday. But we were so glad we decided to book. It was so relaxing and left us feeling we had experienced something special. Authentic Greek food and drink with friendly helpful staff. Comfortable rooms and WOW! What a view from the room. Yes the hotel is a little tired, but that did not spoil our stay one bit. And the lack of pool was more than compensated by the beach which is a stones throw away. Clear waters ideal for snorkelling with so many fish to see. Samos town is easily walkable with many tavernas/bars and a wine museum which is worth a visit on the other side of the bay (2 euros well spent!). All in all this hotel gives everything and more for a quiet and relaxing break. I would definitely recommend it and will be going again.

  Samos bay hotel

  I really enjoyed my stay at the Samos Bay hotel. I got there a few days early and was given a beautiful room overlooking the ocean. The room was great, the food was exceptional and there were a lot of great shops down at Vathy. I recommend asking for room 110 as I think it is the room with the best view!

  Poor

  Got sent here after our losing our holiday with Thomas Cook. Room ok, had to wait 2 days for someone to come & open our safe, 2 days for a hairdryer. Food was appalling & very little of it!!! Was told it was because it was end of season & very few people!!!! Well thats not our fault, we paid £750 each..like previous person said bar in lounge area unused, had to down 2 flights of steps with no rails to get drink( great trying to get up/down when raining & slippery. Wine was awful, never tasted/smelt anything quite like it before....undrinkable . Lovely island,lovely bay. Would not go back to hotel though!!!
