  Lovely, Lovely, Lovely. Siempre estara en mi corazon este pedazito de paraiso!!

  Pasamos 5 noches allí junto con una pareja de amigos en el Fale Hibiscus. Lo primero que comentaré es que si vas acertarás. Es un pequeño complejo de 7 Fale (casitas privadas) con alojamiento, para no mas de 25 personas, lo que lo hace muy familiar. Agradezco a Katie & Rob, Paul, Tim y Andy (el staff del resort), el trato tan bueno y agradable que nos dieron y los momentos de risas que nos hicieron pasar. Son como una familia, además de los trabajadores que son lugareños del pueblo de al lado, son especialmente amables y geniales en el trato. Las habitaciones son amplias, comodas y limpias. Algunas con duchas exteriores al aire libre. Hay frigorifico en la habitacion, con refrescos de bienvenida. El WC es un sistema australiano genial, no necesita agua y es realmente super higienico. Los Fales estan a 10-15 metros del mar y puedes dormir escuchando las olas romper en el arrecife que proteje todo el resort, unos 200 metros mar adentro. Es espectacular. Todos los dias organizan algun tipo de excursion por un modico precio. Si coincide que te alojas y estas el domingo, te recomiendo ir al pueblo de al lado a ver la misa, todo un evento espectacular ver a la gente vestida de blanco y cantando. Esta cerca del aeropuerto en distancia, pero teniendo en cuenta las carreteras, se tarda unos 30 minutos. A Apia se tarda cerca de 1h. Taxi ida y vuelta, 70 euros aprox, y el chofer esta todo el dia contigo. Te lo gestionan ellos, nuestro taxista John, era encantador. En el resort, está apartado de todo, perdido en el mundo y eso lo hace especial, porque no se necesita nada mas. Se puede comer y cenar por un precio muy razonable, no mas de 40 euros por persona dia completo, y la calidad de la cumida es de primera. La cerveza Vailima (cerveza de Samoa), siempre acompaña bien. Destaco la carne y los fish and chips. La tarta de queso (cheesecake) es la mejor que he comido en mi vida. El desayuno es tipo continental, pero ademas puedes elegir cocina recien hecha. Muy bueno. Tiene wifi de pago pero no es caro. Y por supuesto los cocteles que hacen. El MARGARITA, es el mejor que he probado en mi vida, por 8 euros, viendo ese atardecer tan espectacular, resulta un precio asequible. Hay una pequeña playa, una piscina natural, con agua salada tipo infinity pool, espectacular, y unas hamacas donde disfrutar del descanso colgadas entre palmeras. Hay para hacer Kayak y snorkel, gratuito y desde luego que el mar es espectacular lleno de coral y peces y estrellas de mar de colores alucinantes. Se puede hacer surf, para gente experta. Además el resort tiene a dos hermanos monitores. Nosotros coincidimos con Andy, surfero a tope, un tio majisimo. La puesta de sol es brutal. Vuelvo con el staff, Katie, la responsable es dulce y encantadora, es australiana, y coincidio que estuvimos mientras se disputaba el mundial de Rugby, nos compro unas camisetas de los Manu Samoa para apoyar a Samoa. Es muy atenta, y lo pasamos muy bien con ella. Se te hecha de menos Katie. Es tan especial el sitio, que dan ganas de llorar cuando uno se va de alli y va todo el mundo a despedirte como hicieron ellos. Es un lugar ideal para familias, parejas, gente joven y mayor, y para descansar, desconectar y relajarse. Este lugar es el paraiso, Lovely, Lovely!!! Volvere y lo recomiendo al 100%.   Lugar Soñado!

  Estuvimos hospedados del 3 al 10 de marzo en una de las posadas frente al mar junto a mi esposo e hijo adolescente. Fue sentirse en el paraiso mismo. Las instalaciones sencillas pero justas y necesarias para hacer que fueran las mejores vacaciones de playa que hayamos tenido. El staff para sacarse el sombrero, los ame, tan a disposicion de uno, amables y siempre con una sonrisa. Lo recomiendo para parejas, familias con hijos adolescentes y viaje de amigos. Queda al final del camino, recomiendo alquilar auto para poder moverse y recorrer distintos lugares. Sus amaneceres y atardeceres de ensueño. Su pileta natural sublime y algo que deseo que cada uno que se hospede en Sa´moana Resort realice es tomar el kayak y remar hasta ua isla virgen y las playas donde se filmaron Survivor Samoa. Un lugar nunca visto, donde se ven tiburones vegetarianos chicos, todo tipo de especie de peces, estrellas y corales! Quiero volver yaaaa! La gente de Samoa y su cultura tiene un capitulo aparte (viven en aldeas), Pais del que me enamore y estoy haciendo que en mi pais que poco se sabe de Samoa puedan pensar en viajar a este destino soñado!

  Gorgeous Spot

  Just back from Samoa and had a great time. Sa'Moana is unique in location on the stunning south coast. We had 5 nights here. Originally booked a smaller room and we were upgraded to Alofa which was great. Had our own fridge and lovely outdoor shower. Ceiling fans were cranked a lot of the time we were in our rooms. Alofa has a large rocking chair on the deck out the front with a coffee table. Some positives were, beautiful location, very well kept grounds, sweeping done every morning, the staff were very friendly, perfect for downtime, good location to other things to do, a rental 4WD is a must though. Some negatives, no hot water in our shower, we didn't alert the staff as I had read this was common and for us it didn't actually matter but it would to some. We were there 5 nights and only had our sheets/towels changed for the last night. I would suggest changing them every third night with that length of stay. Also, we would have loved to have sat under the trees in front of our unit but there were no loungers or seats to use. I think loungers in front of each unit would be great to read/rest during the day under the shade of the trees.

  Great for groups

  Visited with family and we stayed in 2 Family Lofts and The Beach House. Felt like we had resort to ourselves some days as guests are out alot in the day. Kids loved the island beach life, snorkeling, in the pool, kayaking. Walked down to survivor beach which also has great snorkeling. Staff happy to set up a big table for us all to sit together at every meal. Good choice of food, lots for the kids and nice cocktails for sunset. Hire a car to get out and about.

  OWNERS ARE HOSTILE - THE WORST EXPERIENCE

  I deeply regret not doing enough research before booking this place. Before moving to this resort we had just stayed at a beautiful Samoan owned resort in Savaii where the owners were extremely kind and offered us a wonderful experience and made us feel at home. It was like night and day in terms of how our experience got turned into an awful hostile one at SaMoana. This is not a Samoan owned resort! Book a Samoan owned resort and give your money to the Samoan community. The owners of this place are Incredibly awful and capitalise off Samoan land and their Samoan Staff are severely underpaid. I know this because I made friends with one of their Samoan staff who then stopped talking to me out of fear of the owners. He was deeply unhappy working at this resort but he said he had no other job and needed any money he can get to provide for his family. He was incredibly fearful of the owners. It was disgusting! This place kept charging us fees that they wouldnt explain and when we queried them they called us free loaders. Be careful, the owners will try to charge you hidden costs and not provide receipts or explanations. On one of the days during our stay we asked if there was transport and the owners offered us a ride in their bus -they didnt mention that they would charge us an exorbitant amount for this bus ride- we asked the driver to drop us off at another resort where we had friends and enjoyed a day there. When we returned to SaMoana we were questioned as to why we had gone to another resort - we were being questioned, controlled and policed by the owners of this resort. Obviously they had spoken to their bus driver and their bus driver told them where he had dropped us off! I mean this is just weird, like they use their staff to watch where and who their customers engage with. I felt really uneasy staying at this place. We were then charged an extreme amount for the bus ride there, we werent aware of this charge until we checked out to leave. It felt like we were in a prison and being severely taken advantage of- the worst part is how they treat their Samoan staff- its absolutely disrespectful to Samoa and the Samoan culture. These people do not deserve your business or money! They have enough already from ripping off their customers and not paying their staff decent wages. The owners told us not to talk to or make friends with their staff. The owner will most likely deny every negative review and cannot acknowledge when they are in the wrong, when you bring up a complaint or query with them they become hostile and defensive and will attack you with insults - instead of acknowledging their terrible customer service. Please note we stayed here a few years ago - the only date options in the dropdown list was for 2020. I also didnt write a review sooner because I didnt want the owners to know who I was and was worried about the implications for the staff that I spoke to. I didnt want them to be treated any worse than they already were. Hence the review years later, this experience has troubled me for a long time. This resort should not be operating.
