  Perfect Location

  I've visited this family run hotel so many times. It's in a great location where you are only couple mints walking distance from the heart of the Kyrenia. Their service is great and they always look after their the guests and listen them. I highly recommend this hotel if you would like to be in the walking distance of historical and popular places.

  Chilled and Relaxing

  I stayed at Sammys Hotel in Kyrenia at the beginning of April this year. The room was comfortable and the staff extremely friendly and helpful. Relaxing atmosphere, I would recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to have a break in North Cyprus.

  My secret in North Cyprus

  Sammy's is a small very friendly run hotel that I have been visiting twice a year in May & September for a few years now & wanted to keep it all to myself but feel it is time to share. From my very first visit to my most recent when I returned on 23rd May I have been welcomed with open arms from most of the staff. They are always warm & welcoming & nothing is too much trouble. The new receptionist is lovely & it didn't take too long to realise she doesn't have much English (but I have no Turkish) I could tell by her face all was lost but with a beaming smile it was " just a minute" & off she went to find a member of staff who did. The rooms are spacious & housekeeping keep them very clean. It is situated about a 10 minute walk from Kyrenia (Girne) where there are numerous restaurants & bars where a warm welcome awaits you. The harbour by night is enchanting & is a hive of activity. The family who pop in & out are very welcoming also & Sally always gives me a big hug. I had problems with my tablet & a younger member of the family tried to help. Personally I have nothing but praise for them all, I know over the last couple of years there has been building work, but that is totally out of their control. All in all I couldn't find a nicer hotel to stay in & have already booked my next visit in September. Keep up the good work Sammy's

  Sammy's Hotel 3rd Time

  Well this was our 3rd time here but I doubt we will be back. It is such a shame because it is a lovely pool and a good location sadly everything else seems to be falling to bits. No pool bar or music or ice creams. Last time we were here the place was jumping with music round the pool and ice creams and football matches on the telly at night. This time we were often on our own at night on the veranda with the hotel cat and funeral music playing in the background. Room was basic but clean apart from empty glasses were never taken away and toilet rolls and soap never replenished. There was a huge step into the bathroom and another couple fell down this. The plastering/grouting was done by Stevie Wonder. Breakfast was awful no fresh fruit apart from melon and no coffee machine so Nescafe from a jar. Touran and the staff are excellent but I believe they are being let down by the hotel management. There seems to be a lot of locals using this hotel for the day or for the clinic we are told. Another couple George and Sue kindly let us use their room for showering otherwise we are being kicked out at 12pm with nowhere to go apart from the pool showers which are full of spiders webs and the empty areas are full of junk. I bet Alex Polizzi The Hotel Inspector would have a field day.

  Lovely hotel

  Stayed at Sammy's for our 2 week annual holiday to Kyrenia and as always we stay at the best small hotel in Kyrenia. Have been visiting Sammy's for many years and as always we had a lovely time and were well looked after by the staff and the family. See you all next year.
