  Superb family break

  The hotel must be situated in one of the most beautiful streches of northern Natal coastline with lovely stately palm trees and rolling lawns to the beach area and dolphins frolicing in the waves. The accommodation is perfectly clean, well equipped and spacious. Hotel lounge, reception and dining area are beautifully furnished with comfortable chairs and artwork. Food is well presented,tasty and reasonably priced. Strongly recommended for a restful break. Jenny Fernhold

  Horrible

  Don't be fooled by reviews. Plaited breakfast with only egg, sausage and 2 slices of toast.rooms are dirty and substandard, not child freindly at all. There's no difference between a standard room and superior room, both look like a motel downtown. It's a 2*, nothing close to 3.

  Covid nightmare in a beautiful setting

  I have read other reviews and agree...a wonderful setting that desperately needs a makeover, but the price you pay for sea front views I am happy for basic and clean if not somewhat rundown. HOWEVER..the covid protocols where almost non -existant, from the lady ar reception who never had her mask on..to other staff members who walk through the hotel with mask hanging off their face, under their chin, nose if they had one at all..to room clean where on check I we found d a empty bottle of wine in our cupboard..don't think it was that thorough a clean. As i say for positioning at that price can't be beat...but as the caravan park guests can also use the hotel facilities...if the current covid protocols are any indication...going to be a covid nightmare...whether you believe in the virus or not

  Relaxing

  The staff were polite, friendly and helpful, starting from reception. Great location with awesome sea views. Limited dining which is understandable. The lift was out of order on Saturday afternoon, however it was operational in the morning. Looking forward to another stay.

  Kids upset missing party. Food sent back and no good people roaming the car park.

  1st We used to come all the time to eat, use the pool and tidal area. This week we were invested to a party for our 3 kids and were not allowed in. Lovely christmas spirit! There were people selling items out of cars in the car park which we reported. We sent food back after we went across the road as its was one of the worst foccacias we have ever seen. They replaced it with one exactly the same! We had had steaks 2 nights previous which were not cooked as requested. Drinks with no ice and lemon after being asked if we wanted. The biggest point is.....We supported you like many others during lockdown! Now you have your holiday makers you treat your locals like ....! We have never complained about anything until your hotel made all 3 of my kids cry! I am sure the little boy was a little unhappy too watching his freinds turned away!
