  Penthouse #502

  The penthouse 502, was the best stay we have had in a while. The apartment was fresh and clean the bed was the most comfortable bed I have slept in outside of my home. Salamanca Market is right outside your door as is the waterfront. Just park your car in the secure parking on-site and you can leave it there as you make your way around the area. Our stay at the terraces was great. P.S the balcony is awesome you will not want to leave it.

  Top spot - extraordinary service levels

  Not only a great location , with good facilities and great value for money ; Our stay became extended at short notice, due to state govt isolation rules and the Lenna/ Salamanca Team really stepped up to help us with extra WiFi, amenities top ups, room deliveries, late check out etc and genuine friendliness during our lock in. ( thank God for the balcony !!) Hope to be back in more open circumstances!! Highly recommended!

  Wafer thin walls and a Religious Experience!!

  This place was booked for me and primarily due to its location. The check in was fine, albeit this is a satellite of the Lenna of Hobart, which appears to be very nice! From the check in I was provided with a card key to access the carpark, and warned that the key was temperamental and to keep it away from mobile phone/other cards which makes it a challenge to carry anywhere. They were right, as I struggled for some 2-3 minutes at the boom gate gaining access to the carpark, with the key carried well away from all/any items that could interfere.....not sure the key was the problem! When getting to my room 404A, and became aware this is one of those places with the shared entrance, and essetnially a 2 bedrom apartment....with a door in between/shared secure entrance. I went to dinner (which was quite a let down in its own right!), and returned to my room, to be able to quite literally hear my near neighbours eating their dinner inhouse. Clinks of cutlery, glasses and conversation as if they were in the next room (which they were!) Being quite tired, I turned out my lights, quite early, and went to sleep throught the meal and conversation going on next door. At 4:31am I woke (not a lot earlier than I normally would) however there was quite a religious experience occurring in the room next door, with emotional calls to the almightly, and a considerable amount of swearing....I am not a prudish type, but this was as ridiculous as it was entertaining. The room was comforntable, but the walls thinner than a tent, and I most certainly will never stay here again.

  Good Location And Accommodation

  Salamanka Terraces has a great lcation in Battery Point and this was a positive. The apartments are not elaborate but have all that is needed but do not expect luxury with a somewhat dated bathroom and basic to average living and bedroom fit-out, but quite acceptable.Overrall , good and all that was needed for a short stay at reasonable prices in Hobart.Service was friendly but failed to follow up on a phone call promised if the room became ready earlier.

  Great stay! First time in TAS

  We stayed for 2 nights - Couldnt have chosen a better place. I read reviews prior to staying here and based on those I hoped to have room 502 (Penthouse) and we did. Very clean, excellent parking, centrally located so we walked down the piers each night for dinner after spending long days exploring. Large wrap around balcony with 2 ranch sliders one off the living room and one off the bedroom both sides with a nice little table and chairs so you can sit and take in the view. Full Kitchen, easy to self cater if needed and the washer dryer is also very convenient. Loved this place and will definitely return when we visit again :)
