Delightful hotel ...Wonderful Bio-hotel with great staff, who can't do enough to make your stay special. In the centre of the village and a couple of minutes from the cable car, surrounded by clearly marked walks, this hotel is ideal for walking, good food and comfort. Small menu, but five courses, each one delicious and organic. One of our party was allergic to lactose and needed a dairy free diet. The chef came to talk to us each evening to make sure he cooked her something that would suit her. The restaurant is gorgeous. Breakfast is super too, with fantastic bread and lots of choice. The bread is also freely available during dinner. The owners speak good English and will collect you from the nearest railway station at Schruns for no charge. Our rooms had fantastic views. The ones in the new extension are bright and comfortable. Those in the original building are darker due to smaller windows, but spacious. All rooms have a great balcony with table and chairs.

Wonderful friendly family-owned hotelWe wanted to walk in the Montafon area, and found the Saladina by browsing Trip Advisor. This hotel is a gem! The Steutz and Wohleser families run this lovely hotel with traditional Austrian hospitality. From the moment you walk in the door, you are made to feel welcome. When you stagger back in after a strenuous walk, you are greeted with tea and cakes - all included in the half board price. Food is organic, plentiful and good. Wines are carefully selected, and excellent. Rooms are comfortable, wood-lined, and ours had a bath - essential to ease the aches of Alpine hikes. But above all, it is the family and staff that make this place so special. We will return!

Perfect in every wayFrom the moment you walk into this Inn, all the woo's of the world seem to shred away. The wooden surrounds, the warm greeting of the owner run inn. Dinning in the restaurant, like sitting in a warm honey comb, the service is emmaculate, the food presented artistically and delicious, particularly the home made bread and deserts :) As for the location, you couldn't be closer to the ski lifts to carry you up the mountain side into the clouds.

Good place to be !I enjoyed staying in this hotel during a shortski with some friends. The location is very convenient - just a very short walk to the skilift. Breakfast is nice & relax. The 5-course dinner (half-board) is exactly what you need after a day on the slopes (nothing really sophisticated, but nice & plenty). Well equiped and relaxing spa area. And not to forget, the good service of the cheerful owner and his wife (whoever was really in charge) .. To be recommended !

Wonderful and picturesque Austrian HotelWe love Saladina! Our family loves the traditional family run Austrian lodges and Saladina was perfect. The owners, Daniel and Ulis personal attention was much appreciated. The staff was wonderful. When our mother came down with a bad cold and our father was on his way to get soup for her, Daniel said, well have the chef make some and they sent it up to her room. My husband accidentally broke his only pair of prescription glasses on the slopes. Uli was going to the next town and had the optometrist fit his lenses to a new frame which he is still wearing today. My husband and I eat a plant-based diet. They accommodated that graciously and the chef made some wonderful meals. On Christmas Eve, Patrick, the hotel manager and the owners family put on a wonderful service at a tiny church on a small hill in the town. Afterwards Patrick, led us on a walk through the town with flaming torches. It could not have been a more picturesque Austrian alps experience.
