  Perfecta ubicacion y encantadora habitacion

  Estuve una noche de camino a Paris. El hotel se encuentra situado en una plaza encantadora, donde se puede aparcar relativamente bien, para ser Chartres. La habitación era muy agradable y decorada con muy buen gusto. Los dueños fueron muy atentos en todo momento, me hicieron sentir como en casa. El desayuno correcto, un buen croissant, te de calidad, mermeladas ricas, y pedi un yogur, que estaba delicioso. La catedral se encuentra a 10 minutos andando, y cerca hay varios restaurantes agradables donde poder cenar que los dueños me recomendaron. Excelente relacion calidad precio A repetir.

  Excelente elección

  Estuvimos 2 adultos con dos niños y la casa estaba estupenda. Muy bien el jacuzzi que hizo las deleicias de los 4 y despueés de unos dias de mucho turismo nos relajó a tope. Buena relación calidad-precio y atención muy buena. Parking gratuito cercano y a un paso del centro (catedral, etc). si tengo un pero es que la hora de entrada no sea hasta las 17.30....un poco tarde para mi gusto

  Avoid ...!

  My wife and I have often booked with booking.com and we have always been very pleased with the accommodation. However, I trust you will appreciate our disappointment on this occasion. When we arrived in Chartres we located the office and spoke with the manager who was friendly and courteous. He marked out on a local Chartres Tourist map where we should park, and how we should find the accommodation (see attachment Image 1). Being unfamiliar with Chartres, I had to return and ask him for further help However, when I had managed to find a parking space outside his office, he assured me it was safe to remain there. My wife and I then went to search for the accommodation. On finding it almost at the top of the narrow street (see Image 2), we were somewhat surprised. Nevertheless, we entered and ascended the steep stairway (see Images 3 and 4) to the apartment. The stairs were unsafe to be carrying a suitcase! On entering the apartment we noticed how clean it was. However, our attention was immediately drawn to the open fuse box (see Item 5), which was completely bare, - it did not have a cover and also, a piece of paper was wedged in at the bottom of three of the electrical plugs. This was extremely unsafe!! We then turned the light in the ceiling on, but nothing happened. I checked it and discovered the reason (see Item 6). As you will see, the wires are bare, - another fire hazard, - there was no socket! T On entering the bathroom, we noticed the state of the showerhead The holder was missing (see Item 7)! Then we found the air vent in the kitchen area inexcusably filthy (see Item 8). Exacerbated, we went for a meal. When we returned we tried to switch on the light but nothing happened. This meant we had to climb up the steep wooden stairway in the dark, to the apartment (see Image 9). Very dangerous! By this time, the apartment was extremely warm. We had been made aware there was no air conditioning, but the manager told us we could open the window. However, opening the window attracted flies and insects to the light that was working thus presenting another problem. We then decided to pull the curtains. However, the window next to the bed had no curtains (see Image 10). With the window open, - and no fan provided, - we had to lie awake for hours listening to the raucous noise-life out in the street. The next morning we tried to phone the manager on the number he provided us with but to no avail. I wanted to share these frustrations with him, a

  Great place for a long or short stay

  We stayed overnight on our way back to the UK. Having booked through booking.com last year, we really didn't know what to expect. We could have done with being able to check in before 5:30pm but I didn't plan ahead; turns out they would have accommodated this had I contacted them before setting off in the morning. The apartment was a short walk up the hill from the main reception (opposite L'Eglise Saint Pierre) on Rue Saint-Pierre). It was then another 5-10 min walk to the main Cathedral and centre further up the hill, so very well situated. There were plenty of cafes, restaurants and shops within 5 mins of the apartment but we really wanted for very little as it had coffee, tea etc well stocked. The apartment was well accommodated with a double and single bed in the main bedroom, and another single/day bed and double bed in the living area. We'll be using again.

  Estudio correcto muy cerca del centro

  El apartamento, aunque no muy nuevo y con el suelo un poco abombado en algunas zonas, era comodo y tenia lo necesario para la estancia. Estaba bien decorado. Un punto a favor que las ventanas tenian contraventanas para poder dormir bien. El personal muy amable, nos hablaron en castellano, nos dieron informacion del pueblo y de la iluminacion nocturna. Por un error nos habian cobrado dos veces y nos devolvieron una enseguida. La unica pega que nosotros le encontramos fue la ubicación si vas en coche y llevas mucha maleta. El parking está a unos 10 min andando del estudio, y con un par de cuestas que hay que subir. Para pasar una noche fue bastante incomodo subir y volver a bajar las maletas y bolsas al dia siguiente. Sabiendolo ahora, hubiera cogido algo más alejado del centro y con mejor accesibilidad en coche. Prefiero caminar sin maletas que con ellas. La ubicacion para recorrer la ciudad era estupenda, eso si.
