  Really good bargain hotel!

  Four of us, hiring three rooms, stopped off at Hotel St Denis en route to Brittany. We all liked it - the rooms were all clean and comfortable, quite different from one another, and interestingly furnished, and the breakfast was good. On the strength of this we booked again for the return trip and took up the friendly proprietor's offer of an evening meal. This proved to be excellent, including faux-filet beautifully cooked, and very reasonably priced at 16 euros per head for three courses. Altogether a good experience and one we would repeat if travelling via Forge-les-Eaux again.

  Perfect stopover welcoming hotel

  We were really impressed with this budget but very comfortable hotel. We stayed one night on the Paris-Dieppe cycle and it was perfect for this. Secure courtyard for the bikes, friendly welcome and comfortable rooms. 2 friends in a 2 bedroom mini suite with en suite bathroom. Simple but good breakfast with local bread and croissants. We would recommend for the weary cyclist. Angus

  Great stop-over hotel for 1 night

  We stayed in this hotel for 1 night while doing cycling trip London to Paris. It is very easy to find and straight in the town centre. The hotel is cheap however clean, comfortable with good hot shower in the room. We had breakfast the next morning. I wouldn't say the selection was great - but enough to keep us going on the bike until our next stop for lunch. It was free Wi-Fi too. The owner let us store our bikes safely inside of the court yard over night which was a bonus. The town is lovely and quiet. It is very close to Avenue Verde (cycling route)

  Excellent B and B for Biking

  We had a one night stay in this clean and simple B and B while biking the Avenue Vert. Very friendly owners and the accommodation although simple was more than adequate for a nights stay with secure bike storage in their back garden. The breakfast was a generous continental style self service and the hotel had a nice little bar to relax in before trying one of the local restaurants for dinner.

  Good for touring cyclists

  We had a room with 3 beds for 3 men cycling from Dieppe to Paris and back. We arrived like drowned rats having cycled from Dieppe in the pouring rais. Due to late ferry we arrived late and the town was deserted. We were settled into the room by the owner who ensured we were comfortable. The room was basic but perfectly adequate for our needs. No restaurant so we rushed to the Chinese before it shut. I'm sure we would have felt more positive had we arrived in sunshine. No complaints at all. We got what we paid for. Breakfast typical French hotel fare. Plenty of secure storage for bikes.
