  Buen hotel en Dong Hoi

  Dong Hoi no es una zona muy turística así que íbamos con miedo a este hotel por si era de baja calidad y por algunas críticas que habíamos leído en Tripadvisor, pero nos sorprendió gratamente. Muy buena atención por parte del personal, como es nuestra luna de miel nos dieron una habitación enorme y preciosa y nos invitaron a cenar en el restaurante del hotel, la cena estaba muy buena. El desayuno no está mal pero tiene muy pocas opciones occidentales.

  Extremely Dirty and Smells of Smoke throughout

  Our reservation was for 2 nights. The smell of smoke is throughout the hotel. They have No Smoking signs everywhere just above all the cigarette ashtrays. Our first assigned room was Room 315. Thebathroom was filthy from soap scum on the ledge of the stained tub, to a old style hand held shower head that was attached about a foot above the tub ledge....with no shower curtain attached to the curtain rings. The floor to ceiling windows had many large smears of a sticky substance swiped in various areas of the window. All the white lamp shades were stained a nicotine yellow. The fabric on each light fixture was visibly tearing and old. When we complained, they showed us another room, that was still not acceptable. We were lucky that our travel agent was based out of Hanoi. Once we spoke to her and sent her photos of the unacceptable rooms, she contacted the hotel to upgrade to one of the only 4 suites in the hotel. This room was acceptable but still a far cry from the 4 star grade. Everything including the floor to ceiling windows were spotless. The carpeting, on the other hand, was badly stained throughout. The food was a huge disappointment. The morning coffee was extremely strong, old and murky black. Not good! This hotel at best is 2 Star. Many years ago it may have been a nice hotel.....not now. The staff was very polite and kind.

  A hotel to feel good in

  The staff was very friendly and helpful and the rooms were very comfortable. The view to the river through the huge window was very nice. The Asian breakfast was very rich and tasty. Nearby are several possibilities to eat good and authentic.

  Not deserved the 4 star hotel

  Air conditioner is not well working. The room becomes very hot and cant sleep. The hotel is 4 stars grade but dont has razor. This hotel is only 3 stars as my opinion. However you will have good view from here. You can see Nhat Le river and bridge. Especially, the view in night is amazing.

  Unexpected experience

  We visited here twice. The staff was unhelpful and unprofessional. We had breakfast and tried ' banh beo" there was hair and plastic inside. Staffs have informed. However, no oppolozise should be done. After that, the chef called to my room and TRYING TO EXPLAIN that the food was not home-made food. It came from outside ans they didn't check the Quality. What a funny story!!!! I won't never come back. So disappointed
