  Hand Location but in serious need of an upgrade

  Comfy bed and good sky package coverage compared to other places Ive stayed at but other than that the place is old and tired looking especially the bathroom. Thin walls and creaky floorboards meant for a not set few nights. The shower cubicle is so small its hard to turn around in and the water pressure is non existent with the drainage area ending up like a basin full of water that took over 5 mins to empty. The most annoying thing I found tho is the heat pump was always being turned off and when I returned back to the room at night it was freezing. No extra blankets provided and the bedding consisted of a summer duvet. When I asked for a blanket I very thin single fleece blanket provided which didnt help at all. They said full service daily but the bed wasnt made and bins not emptied which did cause a bit of a stink after 3 days.

  How can this happen in 2018?

  We had the very unfortunate experience of staying at this hotel in late November of this year. We booked late and were left with little choice , the cost for this experience was $190 per night. Let's be honest here, this was a dreadful dirty and degrading way to spend a night. The sheets smelt of a mix of stale sweat and bleach , I sprayed the bed with deodorant before I could get in it. There was mould in the bathroom, in the shower and on the windowsills. The space was dirty and had clearly not left the 70's behind. The kettle, tv and counter tops were smeared with fingerprints and grease. If I could have got my money back I would have asked. I posted a review with photos on Booking.com, they did not publish the photos! Don't bother to stay here if you appreciate cleanliness and hygiene. This is a city were we host our tourist industry, do we really need hotels like this in New Zealand? By the way, I have read the reviews, were they staying at the same hotel as us?

  Weekend at meatstock

  Not very appealing from the road was better than we were expecting room clean plenty of hot water and very quiet apart from other guests noise very creaky floors tired Great location and handy to lots of nice restaurants would possibly stay here again

  i felt excellent feeling to stay in Sai motel and Mr.Raju has been support a lot and he has given lot of information.

  i would say sai motel is one of the best hotel in Auckland and thanks Mr.Raju (sai motel saff) who helped a lot during my stay in the hotel. very cordial staff i can definetely recomment to some one. Thanks from Allam kondal Rao and tirpamma

  Amazing stay

  Comfortable, clean & well set out rooms. The attention to detail was fantastic & really made the stay very pleasurable special thanks to Raju with very High quality service and recommendations he help with all are needs and travel advisories which met all our expectations thanks again Raju from all of us.
