    Pleasant hotel in difficult times

This is a pleasant hotel that manages to provide good service and good food despite being surrounded by civil conflict. The rooms are comfortable and clean, everything works, and the staff are friendly and helpful.

Does the job so-so in a sad, broken city

Pretty much the only place to stay at in Homs these days. A bit worn, a sad place in tune with the town itself. They have electricity, and occasionally internet. Service is absent-minded. Security looks good because of the UN presence. But some crucial details are overlooked here as well. Room-price is high for what you get, but there is not much competition at the moment. You migt be able to bargain.

    Conveniently located hotel

The best hotel in town. Friendly staff and good breakfast.Room Had some issues but understandable given the current situation in the country - such as low shower pressure. TV was not working but was quickly exchanged with another after reporting . Clean sheets and towels. It was winter and the heating system was working very well.

    Good Hotel in Difficult Circumstances

The Safir hotel is where most expats stay in Homs because of regular electricity and water supplies. The rooms are spacious and clean but a bit old. The staff are very friendly and helpful. It has a wonderful pool and during the summer months the atmosphere around it is great with the seats all full of people eating and drinking and taking Shisha

The worst hotel ever... I was in the swimming pool today's morning, people were swimming in their t_shirt,, no swimming dress,,, what kind of rule is that???!!! Bathrooms and facilities were in bad condition, dirty and some of them are broken...
