  1st wedding anniversary

  Firstly the drive up to sacred mountain retreat is just beautiful. Welcomed by such lovely and friendly owners. Upon first view of the accommodation (ocean view) it was visibly very clean and tidy. They had filled the fridge with a fruit platter, delicious milk and orange juice. A little jar of chocolates sat on the dining room table with a wine bottle and glasses all ready to go. The owner had also made some chocolate covered strawberries for our anniversary which was just so lovely and very appreciated. Went down so well with the wine. Beautiful decor throughout and every single window has a gorgeous view of the forest below and ocean. Sitting out on the deck had a lovely breeze and a great selection of movies. Checking in and out was so easy and upon checking out we were informed we are now VIP members. Overall we adored staying here so much we are hoping to bring the kids back in a fortnights time for a family getaway! Cant go wrong with this place!

  Sacred Mountain Retreat

  Just had a wonderful 2 days. The owners are delightful. Well appointed cabin very clean, lovely bottle of wine and chocolates on arrival. Pastries, fruit, yogurt, juice and cereal for breakfast. View of the ocean spectacular, very peaceful and lovely bird life. The drive up the mountain is stunning. Was lovely sitting on the verandah with a glass of wine watching the antics of the birds and taking in the views. Would recommend to any one.

  Beautiful Cottage

  Absolutely Loved this place ! We stayed in the Ocean View Cottage. The setting is stunning.... high on the hilltop in the bush overlooking the Ocean! The decor was lovely & the cottage was very clean & fresh. Even a bottle of wine to enjoy. The gardens are beautiful too. Cute little breakfast supplied as well. So close to the highway, but you feel so far away from everything. Valla Beach is close by & Bellingen close too. The Owner could not have been nicer to deal with..... even invited us in to her house to show us the view. The only regret I had was we didn't book for another full day, so I could sit out on the balcony with a book & soak up the peacefulness! We will certainly be back & will bring other members of our family to stay in one of the other cottages.

  Memorable mountain stay

  Our group of 4 guys on NSW road trip had fantastic back-to-nature overnight stay in clean cosy high hilltop cottage well equipped with all mod cons. Helpful friendly host Penny & Toni gave us a side comfortable rustic shed for extra beds. We had fun with afternoon cheese and home-cooked dinner with complimentary bottle of local wine. Did sunrise hill walk for aerobic workout before devouring the provided continental breakfast of fresh fruits and pastries. Wished we could have stayed longer for a couple of more days.   Magnificent views

  We stayed at ocean view cottage just for one night on 4th October. The hosts Tony and Penny were most accommodating. Please is very beautiful located on a secluded area, peaceful. Just perfect getaway from busy Sydney. Thank you.
