    Aiming for Domestic customer

I spent 2 weeks here in March (other hotels in Korat were full thanks to army and airforce manouvers - a common hazard this time of the year). The hotel is clean and tidy, rooms are spacious but very simple - 2 star is about right compared to Western hotels. The location is in a suburb of Korat, not far from town centre but feels a long way out. Breakfast is Thai but good quality - cereal and bread is available if you have to! Restaurant is OK, but the bonus is that next door to the hotel is a British Bar that serves British beer and food, has a pool table (and runs a pub quiz on a Wednesday). Beware that the hotel may or may not accept credit cards - as a foreigner they accepted mine OK, but my Thai colleagues had a difficult time paying by card without having a big surcharge added to the bill.

    Cheap Clean hotel!!!

I stayed here 1 night. The room is clean but quite old. They provide free wi-fi in the room , you have to ask user name / passward from a reception. There has not vary kinds of breakfast. It is not bad /not good taste. If you plan to stay only 1 night , I think you stay here . Its ok.

A good value option in Korat

Stayed at the Sabai for a week, here for a family funeral so location was our primary reason for choosing the Sabai. Overall, I liked the place and thought it a good budget option, Note that we had our own hire car. The location may not suit if you don,t have transport, though I did use tuktuks and taxis, usually came within 5 minutes. We had a superior room and our son a standard. 1100 baht And 850 baht respectively per night. The superior was quite large, had a king size bed, firm mattress and soft pillows, new quiet air con, tv with good selection of western channels, balcony overlooking the garden ( useful for hanging washing), in room safe. Nothing special, but comfortable and clean. Staff spoke little English, but were very helpful and kind, and I had no difficulty in communicating. The hotel has no pool, and no elevator.3 story's. There is a good steak house a short distance from the hotel ( front of hotel, turn right, work 100 m) There is a good British bar/cafe 50 metres from the front of hotel, to the left. ( the Ram) Breakfast was included with the tariff. It was the same each day, but not bad. Fried eggs, chicken sausages, rice, bread, tea and coffee, jok or Katom, orange juice .get there early as things start to run out by 9 am. Terminal 21 And the Mall are about 10 mins tuk tuk ride away (80-100 baht for farang) There is a Family mart about 200 metres up the road from the hotel , to the right past the steak house. There is a K bank ATM outside the steakhouse also. Overall, Sabai hotel is a good budget option, if you require a clean comfortable room but without too many frills. I would definitely return. Not too many farang stay here, but I got a warm welcome and nothing was too much problem for the staff.

    Good value with breakfast

Hotel is situated away from city centre but near bus station. ( 60 Baht by tuk tuk ) Rooms and bathrooms are big by Thai standards. Very clean. Good air/con and hot water. Good wifi reception. Not for backpackers as its probably out of their price range. Breakfast served has thai food available as well as eggs, sausage, toast, jam, coffee, fruit, cereal, fresh milk. Busy time in February ( 23th... ) as many sporting teams play competitions in Khorat. No English channels on TV. Excellent steak house restaurant nearby called Baan Ya. Serves Thai food and good quality western food as well as fancy desserts.

    Affordable Price for Overnight Stay

Just one night with cost less than US$ 25 with free breakfast.....absolutely perfect. Room is quite old (free 2 bottles of water) but traveller should enjoy how much we pay. Spa and massage shop is located in front of the hotel. Quiet place, big parking lot, good breakfast and affordable price are good points for this hotel. Highly recommend
