Nice cost performanceLocated in the inner part of Tamazukuri Onsen Area. I paid about 6000 yen for 1 night stay and breakfast. That's may be the lowest fee in this area. Onsen in this hotel and another Onsen besides this hotel is available. I stayed in annex, bit complicated. I reccomned to eat Sijimi at the breakfast hall. It was great! Free Wifi is availale in the Lobby area.

Tranquil, good value, solid Japanese onsen experienceVisited for vacation with three other adults from Japan and United States for one weekday night. Stayed in standard tatami & futon room accommodations with four guests in one room. Overall: * Would return on next visit. * Highly recommend to others, especially for those who enjoy ryokan experience. * Recommend with some caveats for those who prefer a luxury/private setting, have trouble sleeping on the floor, or self-conscious using a public bath. Positives: (in no particular order) + Clean rooms, complimentary yukata for hotel stay, private in-room shower and bathtub + Quiet rooms, heard minimal noises from neighbors and people in corridors + Access to main onsen and second onsen across the street with stay + Provided early check-in and adjusted dinner time to match guest arrival & preference + Excellent staff friendliness and concierge helpfulness (speaking Japanese) + Matcha tea and snack offered during check-in + Turndown futon service during dinner service Dining experience: * Breakfast buffet has good selection of traditional Japanese items, scrambled eggs, and sausage. * Dinner is kaiseki and average to good. Onsen experience: * Indoor and outdoor options * Feels spacious in outdoor roten buro Negatives: - Staff has limited English capabilities - No in-room wifi (free wifi is offered at lobby area) - Dinner service may not be available with late check-in - Parking is valet only (have to ask the front desk to gain access to the car)

Great experience at a Japanese traditional "Ryokan" hotel stayWhen we arrived the hotel, they serve Matcha and Japanese sweets for welcome tea and made us expect for futher hospitality of this hotel. Actually this hotel was really comfotable. Clean and enough for traditional service as rental Yukata, geta, (wooden sandal) and great hospitality by the staff. The hotel provided rental Yukata(Kimono style) for relaxing and for sleeping wear. When we stayed this hotel, they have a service for the complimentary bath entry ticket for their sister hotel which was located 2-3 min from the hotel. We enjoyed the different type of outside bath at both hotel. You are able to walk around the hotel and its small town with Yukata and geta sandale. At the dinner, various style of Japanese cuisine were served and these were attracted us visually and taste-wise as well. At the breakfast, therewere also various types of food as Japanese and westeren style food so everyone in our family members were enjoyed their own style breakfast. You can cook sunny side egg by yourself at the table with fuel tablets and tiny stove on your table. It's notable that the attitude of the manager was so professional and treat his staff so nicely therefore, each staff's attitude/hospitality was great in detail.
