  Lovely ryokan

  Lovely ryokan in kawagoe Extremely friendly and accommodating staff. Very clean with lovely decorated rooms. Great location next to main attractions in town within 5 min walking distance of shopping old town and sweet alley. Communal baths are really clean and tidy.

  Great Ryokan in Kawagoe

  I picked this Ryokan because I wanted to be close to the "old town" of Kawagoe. It was the perfect location for us. We arrived mid morning to find the Ryokan was open but no attendant between the hours of 11.00 and 1.00pm, but a lovely lady appeared and said she would store our luggage for us. This worked out well because we could then start our adventure around the town. When we returned we found our luggage already in our room and we were shown where the ofuro was. We found the Ryokan to be very clean with instructions on how to use the hot tub clearly in English. The staff were polite and friendly and willing to help with maps of many languages at the front counter. A little surprise was that the Ryokan also sold wines so you could enjoy a wine at the end of the day. I did exactly this after dinner, my wash in the ofuro and then relaxed with a glass of wine, reading one of the tourist imformation booklets of the area. With free wifi at the location, a laundry and dryer, which was much need by this time, and a reasonable nightly price, this was the ideal Ryokan for our needs.

  Great location, clean and tidy

  This Ryokan and located right near the okd town and is very easy to walk around and see the sights. The room was large by Japanese standards, had a nice shower. If you are there in Cherry Blossoms season be sure to go to the river

  Convenient, spacious, friendly

  Many visit Kawagoe for a day trip, recommend you stay one night. Convenient location, free parking, very large room. Good Japanese breakfast. Friendly owner and staff. Room ensuite. Also large bath on ground floor.

  Convenient and Good prices

  I would say this Ryokan is very good located of kawagoe, just two block to the bell tower , Bus stop in front of ryokan, Room are small but good and clean the prices also very cheap, only one thing is Onsen is not real Onsen as we expected however is good enough.
