  Absolutely fantastic

  We booked a family room at Rye Hill farm B&B for myself, my wife, our 2 children (aged 6 & 9) along with our fur baby (pet dog) for a nights stay while we explored Bamburgh Castle/beach, Alnwick & Hadrians wall over the weekend and we are so glad that we chose this beautiful place to stay. Elizabeth the owner was so welcoming/helpful, nothing was too much trouble, from the communication before we got there by advising us on local places to book evening meal, to letting us know the best places to appreciate Hadrians Wall as we were leaving the following day, Elizabeth was fantastic in every way. The family room itself was beautifully decorated, very clean, lovely comfy beds, a nice en-suite with lovely little touches like tea/coffee and biscuits. We as a family have stayed in a few Hotels/B&Bs on our adventures but can honestly say that this was without doubt one of the best, and just to put the icing on the cake, the beautiful breakfast that we received on the Sunday morning was a delight and set us up perfectly for our visit to Hadrians Wall that day. Rye Hill farm is just a lovely place to stay and next time we go away for a weekend anywhere in the region of that location, we will be booking there again without hesitation. Highly recommended in every way.

  Lovely stay at a welcoming farm

  We stayed in the self contained cottage that is on site. The cottage was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. A fantastic size for a family of four (and would easily accommodate more people). The children loved looking round the farm. Elizabeth was a kind and welcoming host. As someone who was a little nervous about holidaying in these strange and uncertain times, I felt like we picked the best possible place. We had a lovely time and enjoyed the cottage and all the surrounding countryside.

  Excellent again

  Had another superb visit. Elizabeth's gorgeous cake greets you on arrival. Very clean spacious accommodation in perfect location. The Travellers is walking distance and well worth a visit, excellent food. Definitely recommend the farm and will be visiting again.

  Beautiful quiet location

  Recently spent an enjoyable two nights B&B at Rye Hill Farm. Our room was very clean and comfortable and there was a good breakfast choice (banana bread was delicious). Very nice decor/furnishings with lovely little sitting room. Elizabeth was very welcoming and helpful. Can highly recommend.

  A Delightul Stop-Overin a Lovely Setting

  My wife and I spent a most enjoyable and relaxing night here after dropping our son off to his university in Newcastle. The owner, Elizabeth, was very charming and welcoming upon our arrival, and very accommodating about our coming and going. Our rooms were lovely, quiet and absolutely spotless, and breakfast was freshly made and delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, just the one night, alas, but would definitely return and highly recommend Rye Hill Farm in its beautiful country setting. Thank you, Elizabeth.
