  Nice&comfortable

  Stayed there with friends for couple of nights during our trip in Sudtirol. We got a nice recently refurbished spaciuos room with balcony which was great. The staff is very helpful and friendly, especially the breakfast waitress. There is a nice pool by the hotel with heated water as it was colder. The nearby restaurant had a good atmosphere and food as well. Again very friendly staff. Ruster resort is a nice place to stay if travelling to the Bolzano province. Can just recommend it!

  Very good hotel

  Me and my family (wife and a 2,5 months daughter) spent here a couple of days, to visit Meran. I think it's a good choice: rooms are spacious, the restaurant is good, people is friendly, reasonable price. Also the breakfast was very good.

  I hate to give away the secret of just how good this resort is. It has it all, great price, great rooms, attentive staff. If you go to their website, you will see all they have to offer. But it is actually better than the site shows!

  Great restaurant & beautiful rooms

  This hotel is definitely a good choice. A very nicely refurbished room with a great view. The restaurant is a must do. They serve fantastic food for very fair prices and have without a doubt the best spare ribs I have ever eaten. Sauna & jaccuzi available outside with a breathtaking view on the mountains. A real shame for the breakfast that often was a bit of a chaos. If you go after 9.00 o'clock chances are that the buffet is a bit empty and at times 1 person to handle the breakfast for the entire hotel seemed not enough. Nevertheless, the waitress was always very friendly. This hotel has a lot to offer and again, the restaurant with it's Tirol decor is very good.

  More a promise than reality

  We booked on short notice according to an offer, which we asked for. Yes, the hotel offers two pools, yes it is in a quiet area, has a nice view to Meran and the mountains and some of the service staff are really friendly, especially Ivan. And yes, the the hotel and pool area are really clean. The reality is also, that the rooms are very small and our rooms were heated up by the sun (there was no AC), that it was hard to fell asleep at night. Our rooms were renovated, but if you consider to take sports equipment with you (bike gear, hiking gear) - you are not able to take that to your room. The service at the breakfast was really great, Ivan is very helpful. But the variety of the food was not really convincing. Everyday more or less the same, bread was not of a good quality. The food in the restaurant was ok too, the waiters really were taking care of Covit19 situation and were always cleaning tables and seats before usage. This was really positiv. The two pool areas are nice, some umbrellas for the sun are missing, one of the pools was not heated, although we complained, nothing changed. Very strange was that the pool was cleaned in between 10 and 12 am - a time people already used the pool. Also we didnt like the gardener to cut trees and bushes during the day at the pool area for hours and causing a lot of noise. Overall the stay was ok, but we wont choose the location again. We felt like paying guests, partly not really welcome.
