  Great place when not crowded

  Nice place in a calm area. The facilities are nice, however some of the furniture was not at the level that you would expect from the facilities themselves. The staff was polite and ready to assist with every need or question. The SPA center is great, especially when the hotel is not crowded. I guess it may be different if it is fully occupied. The breakfast was really nice and so was the dinner we had at the pizza restaurant. On the bad side - the bedroom was a bit dusty. When I was using the night light, the dust was clearly visible in the air.

  The great escape

  I came to the hotel as I had a recommendation from a friend and stayed for 5 days. The hotel is very easy to find and offers lots of space - I was in an apartment in the main hotel building which had a bedroom, living room and kitchenette with a magnificent view to the village and the mountains. The sleeping is fantastic - very comfortable bed, pillow, duvette. Breakfast is long - from 7 to 10 am and offers a great variety. During the day I hiked around the area for few hours - fantastic hills with forests and 360 degrees panorama views to all three mountains - Rila, Pirin and Rhodopi. There was also the possibility to do it on a horse - I will do it next time. After hikes a nice steam bath or a massage are necessary - great feeling. The food in the two restaurants is OK, European cuisine, quick and friendly service, a good selection of wines as well. You can also take the food to the apartment and dine inside. If you want something local - there are two local tavernas on a 5 min walk from the hotel, Makedonska krachma is the better one. The hotel also offers a free shuttle to the ski slopes - even if you don't ski it is a nice idea to change the scenery. Definitely this is a better choice if you don't want to be in the hussle of Bansko and have more room for yourself. It seems also that this is the perfect choice when traveling with friends. I had a great time at this vacation, relaxing, active and just as I wanted to make it. Thank you for the hospitality!

  A great place for vacation and SPA!

  I'm very happy with my stay at Ruskovets - I did expect to enjoy it that much to be honest. The food was great, the SPA was very good as well, the prices are more than reasonable - overall a great experience. I would probably visit it again in future. The kid and wife liked it a lot as well.

  Good value for your money

  This is a very nice resort located few km away from the center of Bansko. We stayed here for 3 days and found it very nice. The spa center and the swimming pools are very nice and warm. We had an apartment, and it was quite spacious. The facility is fairly new and the rooms are built with good quality materials. The beds are spacious, and very comfortable. We included only breakfast in our package, food was average. There is an Italian restaurant on the premises which is highly recommended, 3 of the different dishes we tried were all very nice, including a pizza which was great. Service was great, and fast. This place even a bit away from Bansko can get really crowded, especially over the weekend. All in all very satisfactory experience.

  Nice place

  The great place for relax and sport! The food was delicious. The SPA is great and offers very high level messages. I would recommend it to all my friends. The place is good for parents with children. Very good place!
