  Dawn with housekeeping is the best

  I ended up booking a room at ruby river hotel last week very last minute. I had my dog with me as well. The front desk agent was so kind and thoughtful when I checked in she gave my dog a little car package and offered him a bed 2 times. Thats Awesome customer service. The room was recently updated and exactly what you pay for. Not bad by any means. Dawn with housekeeping was absolutely a doll. I will be staying there when I come to visit from now on.

  Great location going upscale

  What was once a Red Lion in a great location is now making rapid moves toward becoming a destination hotel in central Spokane. Right on the river and linked to walking paths and river parks, the Ruby River is also just a short walk to malls and downtown. Rooms are being significantly upgraded and a new outdoor pool space is taking shape. A great location just steps from Gonzaga and the on-site restaurant is one of the best in the city.

  Staff Make Spokane Shine!

  My wife and I are traveling with our dog, so I chose to stay here because they are very pet friendly. Free treats and a toy for the good boy! The location on the river is great, we walked to the falls with ease. A sliding door that opened poolside was also a big plus. The amenities were excellent, but it really was Ramome and Jodi that made this stay memorable. Ramone was super friendly and helpful at check-in, and Jodi assisted me in both booking the room, as well as allowing us a late check-out which was super helpful. I heard that the finest feature of Spokane was its people, and Jodi and Ramone proved it to be true. Thank you Ruby on the River staff!!!

  One night stay

  Newly renovated rooms were very nice and clean. Beds were comfy. Staff was friendly. We did not eat since we arrived after dinner and left early. We did go for a nice walk along the river walk which was just outside the hotel.

  Almost perfect

  My husband wanted to get out for the weekend and his only request was an outdoor heated pool. I called several properties before settling on Ruby River. I checked to make sure there pool was open and heated and yes it was...WhooHoo Our room was ready upon checking in at 3pm. They even went out of the way to fix a mistake in the room category (we asked for king and was booked into a double queen from a 3rd party) This hotel has clearly under gone recent renovations and they are beautifully done. Clean rooms, cozy beds great amenities. Our only push back was the pool was only but as you can see from the pictures really not usable. The pool area in general has great need of attention for the season. Filthy pool, overgrown weeds and no towels was a sad end to and otherwise PERFECT stay. I REALLY wanted to give a higher rating because the rooms were wonderful and friendly service but the only request he had was the biggest disappointment.
