Modernized Soviet Concept of SanatoriumWell the official name has Switzerland (Geneva), Royal and Spa in it. Well dont expect any of these. More adapted would be Post-Soviet Sanatorium Carpathians. Is nowhere close to a Spa. The staff is friendly and fairly competent. But is very much oriented towards "proceduri" and making you drink water to cure illnesses. Nothing about wellness. Food is less fatty than usual UA standards. But still swims in greasy sunflower oil. You have many saunas, but dont expect intimacy. You have people coming and leaving every minutes. Crowd is not spa, is 80% 50+ers and a few young families. You can drink water from special taps that destroys your teeth but cures other illnesses (allegedly). Wifi is available in common zones and decent bandwith, All this included in the price. Massages are to be paid additional (like 280UAH per hour). They have 2 thai girls imported that are fairly competent. Georgian restaurant is fairly good. The Karaoke bar is fine if you dont mind singing alone. Was empty. They dont have much international hits, but can quickly "find it for you". Imperfect but gets there: everything we tried, we came accross difficulties. Ex: No toilet paper on arrival in the room. Took 40 mns to sort out. They refused to give us 2 rolls. Allowance is one toilet paper roll per 2 nights... and we were staying 2 nights... Everything like this. Truskavets - dont expect to be outside and do great walks. This is a cluster of high raise soviet building sharing a supposedly magic ressouce: their local water. Not much charm, no views on mountains. Would I advice it: probably not. Better to look for something better. Is it bad? No. Would i mind coming back? If i am invited why not.

Great stay at SPA Hotel GenevaOur short stay this place was great. It is a good hotel, very clean, very beautiful and well equipped with all the modern amenities. Rooms are wonderfully designed according to needs of all types of travelers. Bed was super comfortable and pillows were large. Food was amazing, very well cooked and very well presented. Staff is accommodating and we really felt like home. Highly recommended.

Worst way to spend 100$ per nightEverything was bad. Reception was rude and gave wrong info about prices and internet availability (we emphasized that we needed it for work). Food was awful. Room was cold and they didnt turn on heat even though we asked for few times. Spa is horrible, the smell keeps you away from swimming pool. Dirt was everywhere. I have no idea why people are still visiting this place. Dont repeat our mistakes.

Soviet concept of a holidayThis hotel definitely requires good management, renovation, polite and professional staff and good chefs. Check-in and check-out were awful. Be ready to wait up to 40 minutes to get the key and listen to rude receptionists. Staff is unprofessional and ignorant. I DO NOT understand why hotels located in Ukraine give some application forms printed in Russian. Why the staff in the hotel speaks Russian? In my opinion, you respect neither yourself nor your clients. I believe that people can find better options for this money and spend a good time with their families and friends.
