  Royal Residence hotel and spa in Um Al Quwain is a wrong choice

  #Royal Residance hotel and spa in Um Al Quwain The hotel pictures which presented in booking website is so great but not reflect the true and the real. *Swimming pool: First of all I have to say that the swimming pool is so great. But the ground of the pool not will maintained where the tile is removed to small pieces rest in the bottom of the pool. This make the pool ground not safe and probably for injuries. While my stay, two kids have been injured. *Sliders: The pool provided with two sliders but the water depth in the end of the slider not enough. Where there is one woman get injured in her back. *Reception staff: The staff who I met; I think she is a Russian lady, she is not smiling and not cooperative. Where even I requested for a baby cot in my booking but I was not available. Adding to that I told her that this is my first time in hotel and I hope I get a comfortable stay, imagine her answer: (you did a mistake) Also I asked her there is steam and sauna in hotel, she answered with silly smile: where do you think you came its a 3 star hotel. Here answers not acceptable for any gust even its a true she can answer in better way way. *First aid: The swimming pool area not provided with proper first aid and professional staff can deal with any injured person as I saw with the two kids who get injured. *Any order at swimming pool: I ordered a shisha at swimming pool, it delayed for 45 minuets till it came. *The restaurant: The breakfast buffet is very poor and dont have much varieties. *Room furniture: Room furniture is very poor. Also I asked for an extra bellow, they brought for me bellows a very bad quality. I asked to exchange it, the room service told me this the only available. *Parking: Each chalet has its private parking but its very narrow. *Rules and system: There is no any rules, where next to my chalet there was a family bring their food and eating on the ground front of the pool. Its Uncivilized landscape for the hotel. I am very disappointed, Its was my first time booked for this hotel and will be the last time. I dont advise any one to book for this hotel. Thanks

  Awsm experience, worth the price, good food , lovely pool area.. friendly staff, gr8 service. I recomemd this resort to all

  I recomend this resort to all family, friends, corporates, weknd out specially their 3 & 4 bedroom villas. Lovely ppl, awsm food and service. Nice pool area. Place fr bbq. Everyone should visit here. V booked 3bedroom villa and hd a gr8 time doin bbq in our villa premises. Neat clean rooms.. spacious .. clean bathrooms. Parking fr each villa. Outdoor pool area wid muzik and food.. oh yes and dey do.hv a AWSM MASSAGE.

  Not coming back

  We Stayed for a night at this hotel and we found out everything seems to be old. The rate was expensive since it was eid so this is a given. Worse is we requested for a broom so we can clean and it took them hours to deliver despite of multiple calls. The small pool has no proper filtration and it was jump pack as a lot of people are on holiday. All in all, I rate this 2 star out of 5.

  The worst resort ever

  The staff and hotel security should learn one thing call " respect" The pool area was very very dirty and bedbugs every where and because of this i had through all the clothes to avoid taking home. I am 100% sure that no one is checking the villas and the pool just cleaners will come for normal cleaning and that is it.

  The biggest dump Ive ever been to. DO NOT VISIT

  Honestly the worst place Ive been in the UAE. Do not book. You will be disappointed. I cannot believe I payed MONEY to endure staying here. I would not do it again if they paid me. We arrived the room had mould and smelt disgusting. They changed our room. The room itself is so minimal. The lights flicker. When the outdoor light is switched on, the fuse blows. The furniture has burn marks and looks about 30 years old. The beds are uncomfortable and hard. The air conditioning in the bedroom is appalling. And so noisy yet barely works. We had an awful nights sleep. We were told BBQ facilities available yet no charcoal. So we had to go to Carrefour to buy everything ourself. And no outdoor lighting. No cutlery in the room. None available to borrow. The decor in general is disgusting. Truly the worst hotel Ive seen in the UAE. I really didnt know they came this bad. Would not recommend to my worst enemy. I hope if youre reading this you find somewhere better than we did
