VacationIt was planned vacation early from march 2019. Generally I can say only good words. But lets be more specific: 1. Hotel base is really nice, clean and peaceful. 2. Staff is friendly, polite and very helpful. Especially Nina and Vasilis they was always smiling and friendly. 3. Food is more than great, with small things that can be stressful. For example kids menu is always pasta and bread! 4. Rooms are big enough and with good view. The main issue here is the personnel who clean the rooms. For me is not normal the cleaning process to be whole day! If they dont clean your room at noon, they will clean another one. If you decide to sleep at noon forget it! 5. Beach is excellent, water is clear. A lot of fish and underwater life if you are amateur scuba diver like me. 6. Parking is free and wi-fi also. 7. Prices are ok for such a place, of course that you can find cheaper prices near the beach close to you. After all of the that I can say it is worth it. I was rest after a week and I can recommend it for sure. For me the most valuable thing was the quality and piece and I find it at that hotel.

Bad serviceWe are in Greece Thassos Royal Paradisse Resort 5* hotel and we are very dissapointed regarding the service here. Usually I dont give bad reviews but this resort forced me to do so. In the bathroom was a huge spider web, the jacuzzi on our terrace is old and looks bad, the service at the restaurant is very bad, they changed the employees and they have no ideea what is in the menu, they serve you after 1 hour at the a la carte restaurant. Breakfast is untill 10 oclock, if you dont reach before that time they dont let you take anything in the room. Seems like they have room service but no menu in the room, when I asked about it the manager of the restaurant told me that they send it via email... no email of course. Everybody behaves like amateurs, like they never worked before in hospitality. I dont reccomend you to come here unless you want to spend a lot of money for nothing or you dont mind for any reason. Doesnt look as a 5* resort and the people working here dont know anything, all the time delays and let me check is the most popular answer. After 30 minutee they come and say that is not possible or they dont have, no matter what you ask for. Better to go in a hotel or villa that is a family business, they are nice people and they dont have stupid rules like here! The only good thing here is that for a family with kids you have the beach close and the pool. Not reccomended !!

Very good choice for ThassosWe spent at Royal Paradise 9 nights during July 2020, in the middle of COVID pandemic. I should say first that the hotel had at the time an occupation rate of max 40% - together with the care of the personnel, this made us feel 100% safe from the beginning to the end. The hotel is located in one of the best golfs in Thassos - I visited the island quite extensively and, from my point of view, the beach serving the hotel is among the top 3 beaches in Thassos (medium as dimension, with crystal clear waters, very nice exposition offering sun until 8:30pm, pines offering excellent shadow if needed, half of the beach solely for the hotel, plenty of sunbeds free of charge for the guests, etc). The hotel has a very nice garden with beautiful olive trees (some quite old) and is efficiently organized leading exactly on the beach. The beach is sandy though at the entry into the water there is a line of annoying stones which could be avoided following the clean narrow ways done by (I think) ... the tourists each 10-15 meters. It is true that 2-3 times a week, a gentleman from the hotel is collecting the stones but solely those reaching the sand outside the water (it would be great if they would make an effort to collect them inside the water as this would for sure make this the best beach in Thassos). The personnel was all very nice and welcoming and so was also the Polish girl ensuring entertainment - very nice and effective stretching sessions each morning and not only. Breakfast was just fine with good choices. Dinner was also good - we had only one a la carte dinner as we prefer to experience the various taverns and restaurants around (at least 4-5 in a distance of less than 2 km). Things to fix: 1. The A la Carte restaurant has the menu solely in Greek - it was funny to have it translated live by the waiter in English but I trust not all the guests of a 5 star hotel would like that; 2. The stray cats at the restaurant during all meals are completely unacceptable and this is really outrageous for a 5 star hotel - apart from the pure sanitary and hygienic aspects, is absolutely horible to have breakfast or dinner harased by the cats or to see them fighting like hell in front of you / then, they are making their necessities where various babies and kids are playing and this is really not acceptable by all standards. All in all, a beautiful hotel in a beautiful place, overlooking the Mount Athos.

Wonderfull place for holidayThis place is fantastic! The mix of olive trees, pine trees, grass & sand is perfect! You can enjoy the sun or the shade, depending on your mood. The sea is clear and the beach has few rocky parts in the water. Just across a cliff is another amazing beach with white sand and light blue water. The people working here are fantastic! Extremly friendly and helpful, even in these strange and challenging times. The food is very good, done with high quality ingredients, bevarage selection is rich, wine list has a lot of local stars. We made some good friends here and we'll return as soon as possible with open hearts and joy.

We had the best timeIt's a wonderful place by all regards. The beach is perfect, sandy, shallow, clean water with lots of snorkeling attractions. It's also easily accessible from the hotel garden. The food is great, I liked the souvlaki and the grilled octopus the most. But all of this would not matter if it weren't the warm and friendly hotel and restaurant staff. We specially thank Daiana and Mr Dimitris. P. S. If you can take the room with jacuzzi, you won't regret it.
