  Room 205 is perfect!

  The condo is very well kept, the common areas were always clean. There is a nice park (good for small kids) and convenience store next to it, the beach trolley bus stop is across the street, and so is the beautiful Redington beach. The atmosphere was nice, people shared the BBQ, chatted at the pool, left each other food when leaving, it was friendly and quite relaxing to stay there. Unit 205 was cute and clean, fully equipped with kitchen, room, and beach gear. Perfect vacation stay.

  My kind of place

  Royal Orleans is a small, quiet group of condos. We stayed in 117. If you are here for the beach & are not looking for the resort experience this is for you. A homey atmosphere with friendly fellow vacationers. Beach accesses is less than a block away, pool is small but clean as well as courtyard & bbq area. A relaxing atmosphere, close to shopping & restaurants.

  Small but very comfortable

  We stayed on the 2nd floor room 210. We found it under vrbo but it then took you to itrip vacation rentals to complete your booking. We tried calling Royal Orleans directly but we were told this particular unit wasn't one of their listings. As I mentioned it was on the 2nd floor, no elevator so be prepared to climb 2 flights of stairs. This unit is small but very comfortable. It had a king size bed, the mattress was a memory foam and it was like sleeping on a cloud. You never felt the other person move. They had a very nice sofa that pulled out, but there was enough room on it, we didn't pull it out we just slept on it. There is a tv mounted to the wall in the corner by the bed. free Wifi and cable. Reception was very good on both. Kitchen table with 4 chairs. Small stove top, no oven. Worked fine for us. This place is very well stocked, plenty of pots pans, dishes, silverware, casseroles, mixing bowls. Also had a microwave, an coffee maker.t They even had a blow dryer in the closet should you want to leave yours behind. One less thing to pack. The owner even has a cooler, lounge chairs, and a few beach toys if you have kids, in the closet. They start you off with a small bottle of dish soap (no washing machine), the full bath has toiletries in it, the usual soap, shampo0, cond, an lotion. There is washer and dryer by the front office. Small size fridge but enough room for 4 days worth of food. Plenty of ice trays and freezer mates for coolers in the freezer.We put the blender to good use, during happy hour. The people staying there over our 4 days were so friendly. By the time we were leaving we were exchanging emails and facebook info. Plenty of parking. The unit was spotless and they keep the grounds very clean and well maintained. They even have a gas grill for guests to use, with grilling utensils and things to clean up with. A couple of nights many of us had a pot-luck by the pool. We all brought our dinners down to share and 2 people offered to do the grilling. It was like having an extended family. We are so happy we picked this place to stay at. 2 thumbs up all around. The beach is only 1 block away. Very easy walk. On the trolley route right outside the gates. Tons of restaurants to pick from. I highly suggest Conch Republic Grill (see my review). Beyond delicious. Also Sea Hags, another favorite of ours.

  Great visit

  My wife and I spent several days at this lovely place prior to a cruise out of Tampa. We had a wonderful time in the studio apartment which we rented through Air BnB. The owner of the unit had taken the time to insure everything we needed for a fun time was on hand. They went over and above the call of duty to provide great amenities - too numerous to mention. The common area around the pool was pleasant with friendly people to converse with. We will return!

  Just a couple of nights but very pleasant.

  Stayed here November 2019, for a couple of nights. Booked via Airbnb. The room was just a studio really, but it had everything we wanted. We didnt cook although there was a stove, microwave and grill. Comfy bed, all very clean but to be fair that was down to the Airbnb owner, not the resort. Nice pool. Washing machines, barbecue etc, so a decent place to stay. Resort itself also clean and tidy. The local area is pretty quiet if you walk to a bar in the evening. But Johns pass is a few minutes by car, so there is plenty at that area to entertain. I guess you have to consider the charges, and we paid a very reasonable £180 Sterling for two nights, including cleaning etc. Would happily return.
