Consistent service and quality deliveredI've been using this hotel for about 3 years now, especially for trips with my (now) 2 and a half yrs son. All boxes ticked for me: very quiet, the hotel and the surroundings. The beach is very nice and not crowded at any given time. The apartment is very big, with a very nice view and clean. All the amenities provided for self catering, if you need something for the kid. The food is of a decent variety and good quality, most important always fresh so never had a stomach problem . Pool is nice, if you are looking for a pool when the sea is 2 min walk. Very nice staff, a special mention for mrs Pavlina from the reception! Secure parking. Very nice restaurants nearby, and everything is very decent priced, sometimes straight cheap! When visiting, be sure to visit the Balgarka snail farm and have lunch there!

Good hotelThe departure was from Bucharest - I started early in the morning, because last year all Bulgaria was the destination and from Bucharest (starting at 8.00) we made 10 hours 350km ... agglomeration on the Sun Motorway + Agigea Bridge. Eh, now everything went well, we arrived in Bulgaria in the morning - I had some retention on Kavarna because it is not very well known by tourists, at least by the foreigners of Bulgaria. At the entrance to Kavarna, everything seemed a return in time ... a small town (at least that seems) sad, on a beautiful Sunday morning. Knowing exactly where the hotel is, I had a pretty strange state thinking that at the end of some sad and gray street you and our hotel will. It was not so obvious. We came out of town - to our happiness - and headed for a hotel on a hillside overlooking a dense forest. Approximately 4-5km to the left is Royal Cove. The first impression was a good one, guarded parking lot, the goalkeeper (who, moreover, spoke the Romanian language). Although it was not the check-in time at reception, we were asked to wait about an hour to pick up the apartment. The hotel has 3 buildings (A / B / C), swimming pool, terrace, restaurant. Inside the restaurant has a small capacity (4 meals with 3 chairs) the covered terrace is more spacious. But if you catch a rainy day you have to wait a minute to get a meal. The meal was half board and I must admit that for a 3 * hotel the Swedish buffet table was a varied one. There were no 15 dishes, but I did not leave the flesh at any table. Drinks are included at breakfast, at dinner drinks are at a surcharge - prices are not high at all. The restaurant also served lunch. Somewhat disturbingly (but not exaggerated) it was that at every meal the waiter asked (which were otherwise the same) the room number and building body 14B in our case. Room cleaning is done daily, and towels are changed every day. We had an apartment with 2 bedrooms and a living room + kitchen, two bathrooms. The window from the living room overlooked the sea, the bedrooms facing the courtyard. The courtyard, the pool - cared for. The gate was closing in the evening, so the car was safe. The gatekeeper was there non-stop - even if the gate was shut in the evening. The resort - very small, some terraces, a shop (which looks like in the '80s), a beach shop where there was also a currency exchange. That's all. Beach with free zones + sunbeds - 1 lounge was 3 leva, an umbrella all the same. Total 2 sunbeds + 1 umbrella = 9leva (about 22 miles - cheaper than the seaside). You found sunbeds at 11.00. The entrance to the sea was smooth and at a distance of 200-300m water you got to your bra. Few waves, the beach is somewhat in a bay. What I really liked is the fact that the resort is "guarded" by two mountains so the climate was very friendly - it was not more than 30grade (at least when we were there). Sunset and sunrise from the sea you will not see in Cavarna - the sun rising from a mountain side and settling on the other side of the mountain. All the beach is crossed by a bridge that lets you struggle with the walk in the sand to reach the sunbeds. The few terraces have very good prices and the meals - we liked most of all in Balgarka, where we recommend eating if you arrive in Cavarna. Good food is also at Kakadoo Pizzeria and Old Bridge Terrace. On the only day that started with the rain and ended with the sun we decided to visit Cape Kaliakra - where I paid the entrance in lei, the card payment was not possible and left no more (it was a rainy day with the currency exchange shop did not open) . Spectacularly that language of earth that embraces so dear the sea. The azure water gave you the impression that the sight in front of your eyes is not one from the Black Sea. With some luck, you see dolphins too - we've seen ... for a few moments. One above the other, the resort recommends those who want peace and relaxation. I do not recommend it to those who want to take long walks on the cliff, they like the agitation. We were totally pleased with the peace there - in the evening, or you stayed at the hotel's restaurant, or you went to a laugh. The waterfront is not lighted, and you do not really have a walk. Cavarna is the destination of bulgarians more - judging by the registration numbers. I also met Romanians, some Polish and Russians (who arrived by plane - the hotel offered a transfer from the airport).

Sejur perfectI was at this hotel June 8-10, 2019, I booked without having a recommendation. The hotel is about 60 rooms, all inclusive and self catering. The room we stayed in was actually a 70 sqm apartment fitted with a kitchenette, which was not necessary anyway, considering that we opted for all inclusive. It is a quiet hotel and even if the pool is relatively small, I have never seen it crowded. The hotel also receives pet tourists, which is a plus for tourists who have no place to leave uncomfortable friends. And what about table services here is the best part especially for seafood lovers and over. During the period I stayed at this hotel, I was able to serve all-inclusive mussels, calamar pans, shark medallions. The restaurant is small, cozy, very serviced and attentive with the customers, the chef is extraordinary, demands the opinions of the clients, is friendly, asks the customers whether the food is ok. A 3-star hotel where I felt better than other better-rated hotels. Surely we will return to this hotel.

Look somewhere else!I moved in, in November 2019 and rented a 3 bedroom 1 bathroom apartment. In January Moutain Brook was sold and the new owners renamed this complex Royal Cove the new owners have sent out notices with new ridiculous rules. Everything is done on the internet like paying rent instead of mailing it in and asking maintenance for help if we need them ASAP. Your not renting an apartment its more like a $1800 a month home mortgage. Owners wont fix anything, they say renters have to fix things on their dime or they fine you. Place is uneven in the kitchen so when you cook or use anything on tables or countertops, it goes to one side and spills. If we are out of power etc we arent allowed to call maintenance we have to call central Hudson. If we need to get a hold of maintenance, we have to fill a form out on the internet! So move somewhere else.
