  Grata sorpresa

  Nos alojamos en familia durante la visita a Legoland. El sitio es precioso, con unos jardines inmensos y muy bien cuidados en los que los niños disfrutan jugando. Es un lugar relajante y bonito con habitaciones amplias y cómodas. El bufet del desayuno está bastante bien. Dar las gracias a la señorita Lily de recepción, muy profesional y amable, que a nuestra demorada llegada nos alojó en una habitación superior. Se agradece que haya enchufese en las habitaciones y detalles con las familias como regalar la comida de un niño con la de cada adulto y packs de bienvenida. Tiene bien merecidas sus 4 estrellas.

  Visita decepcionante

  Fuimos a pasar un fin de semana en familia. Un hotel con un entorno físico agradable.Sin embargo las instalaciones están algo anticuadas. Lo peor fue que se celebró boda en el hotel las dos noches que estuvimos alojados. Nos dieron una habitación justo encima de la fiesta, debido a lo cual tuvimos música ensordecedora hasta altas horas de la madrugada. Y cuando terminó la fiesta tuvimos que soportar las voces y gritos de los asistentes, algo sobrepasados de alcohol. Un desastre. Nadie nos había avisado. Porque en tal caso naturalmente no habríamos reservado la habitación. Jamás volveré a este hotel ni recomendaré a nadie que se aloje en el mismo.

  Lovely Hotel with Poor Housekeeping

  We booked this hotel which was close to Windsor Great park to spend a weekend. Stayed for two night at room nr. 365 on the 3rd floor. We booked Deluxe Room. Hotel provides free parking which is great. Beautiful gardens. Free Wi-Fi. On the arrival we needed to check our temperatures which is totally fine at this time's situation. Receptionist was welcome enough. When we entered the room, it was large enough, quite modern, with windows facing the gardens. I then started to inspect the room as I always do on arrival to make sure everything is clean and in high standards. I was so disappointed! Loads of pubic hair on floor, dirty bathroom doors, dirty underneath of sink, dirty bin, dirty upper tiles in the walk-in shower I was so happy I had Dettol wipes with me, and I started to wipe the floor etc. For me it was disgusting! Only thing I really loved was walk in rain shower. But not only bathroom So many dusts in the room itself-lamp shade, skirtings etc. I believe all the flooring was not hoovered for a long time. Bed was comfy and big but could not fall asleep at all. At the breakfast you will need to order your food from the menu. On the first morning we chose Full English Breakfast and coffee of course. It was pretty delicious. We did not ask for juice, but waitress provided with - it was terrible! It is so sad that 4* hotel is not able to provide a fresh juice for their customers. I believe it was squash mixed with water. Waitress also brought two mini croissants. When I looked around each table were provided with just two even there were sitting 3 or even 4 persons! Really? Are you running out of simple mini croissants? We asked for two more so each of us can have one plain and one chocolate Mini croissant. On the second day morning we chose all the same except juice of course. Full English Breakfast was provided literally in 7 min or so. Dish was half smaller, mushrooms and tomato were dry, scrambled eggs was not delicious (added some kind of sauce and looked uncooked) Overall it looked like leftovers heated in the microwave from previous morning. Not sure if we would stay at this hotel again and not sure if they can call themselves as Luxury Hotel.

  Such a delightful experience

  I visited the Royal Berkshire on Friday 30th October for an Afternoon tea. Even though I was on my own as my friend couldn't join due to the tier restrictions, I had a wonderful time. The food was delicious and really enjoyed the beautiful view of their gardens! The lady serving me, Lily Thomson, she was absolutely delightful! She was very friendly in manner from beginning to end as one would expect. Customer service is key for me and she was a true Superstar! Always attentive and taking an interest, inviting me to borrow some wellies to go for a walk in their lovely gardens. It makes me want to come back again and hopefully when things settle with the pandemic, I can bring some friends this time. It was a very special experience and I encourage other to visit, especially to take a walk in their beautiful gardens.

  Good first impression but...

  Friendly welcome from reception staff. We upgraded to a cosy room which was spacious and clean. Tea and coffee making facilities but only one tea bag and 2 little cartons of UHT milk! The bathroom was a bit disappointing. The door had to be forced open and shut (and I really mean forced!) and only half a toilet roll which had not been changed since the previous guests, which is not good during a pandemic. The bath was small and basic. We enjoyed the starters but the sirloin steak was very tough and chewy. No toast with breakfast and orange squash (not juice). Lovely grounds, especially at this time of year. We had the most beautiful tree outside our lovely big bay window. Over all a nice experience but it's a shame they cut corners to save themselves money (lack of tea/milk, orange squash, toast and toilet roll)
