  Simply disgusting in every possible way!

  We checked in about 7pm last night without a prior booking. We had no chance to check previous reviews about the place. We paid well for supposedly a high class room (8806) overlooking the pool. The room is spacious but stank of mould throughout. There was a doona without covers and no bed sheets. One plain cheap pillow each. One bath towel. I was told they could not provide another towel until the next day. No internet in the rooms - can you believe this in this day and age. Poor Hygeine throughout the bathroom, living areas and especially dining room area. Cutlery, tables just poorly cleaned. Mish mash of food some poorly cooked. Staff appeared untrained and lacking direction. During dinner we ordered 2 gin n tonics. They were delivered to us in disposable paper cups and very little gin. My wife and I are Turkish speaking from Australia. I have now also read the terrible reviews also written by previous recent visitors. I have chosen to write this review in English to tell the wider tourist population as well. This morning there was an almighty yelling match between unhappy clients and reception desk. We paid 1000 TL for one night and believe we have been effectively ripped off. I dont want the management to respond in their usual nonesense style as with all previous reviews. I am demanding my money back. They have my contact and credit card details. That will be the test of their honour and professionalism. Well see. Our rating for this hotel is -10. We have been driving around Europe for 6 weeks and have visited 20 countries and stayed at 25 hotels. This has been by far the worst experience. Ahmet & Vesna, Melbourne Australia

  Disgraceful.

  We had a holiday with TC cancelled on Monday, so we booked a new holiday here lucky to get one with what was happening. It is HORRENDOUS. especially if you are English you are treated so differently. Our room was a disgrace you would have to pay me to sleep in it, not to mention luke warm shower water and dirty bath towels. All inclusive but you can't have any spirits only beer soft drinks or coffes, beach bar closes 30th yet we are here until the 6th October and was never told. The hotel needs severely updating everything is broken or ruined. Reception is lovely and the views are amazing. The tables, carpets, floors, rooms, sliding doors are falling apart. We went down for lunch 15 minutes before it closed in the restaurant we were told to go and eat by the pool and we can't eat in the restaurant even thought they were lots of other people eating in their. Soft drinks are watered down, the only good thing to drink is the beer. I read the reviews after I booked hoping it was better than I read and what I read was true. Our holiday was totally ruined from the moment we were given our room key. I asked to see another room and the one we were shown was even worse it was a matress on the floor, I had worked so hard to save up and go on holiday after a long 10 months at work and I just wanted to fly home, both of us. The beach is probably the best place to go, and to stay their for as long as possible. Beach food snacks same everyday burgers and chips, table service for pretty much everyone around us apart from us we were told no we have to go and get it and sit on the table and chairs but was taking food on trays over to other ethnicities. Staff are rude, they don't want to know if your not paying for anything. For a 5 star hotel which is only for its facilities I wouldn't even give it 1. We then came down for breakfast on the second morning at 20 to 10. Breakfast finishes at 10. We only wanted toast and an omelette and we were told no. I went to the hotel manager in the office behind the front desk to express my concerns about being English as there was other cultures still eating breakfast at half past 10 and numerous occasions we had been singled out for our ethnicity. I was basically told to go away. Building site next to the beach so when your relaxing all you can hear is diggers. Cat sh*T in the hallway stairs. Was there for a full day not cleaned properly still a stain on the carpet. We went down into the strip of restaurants and bars every evening for breakfast and dinner we did not enter the hotel restaurant again after 2 days even though we had paid all inclusive we spent money out everyday on drinks and food, down on this strip we were treated so nice! Couldn't thank you enough for being there, it felt like a holiday in those few hours. There's even a free bus that goes down the big hill from the hotel to these places and we felt we couldn't get on it so we walked every night and every lunch. So upset that our one annual holiday has been more stressful than working homelife. It was that bad we paid alot extra to move hotels after 4 days.

  Shocking hotel

  I have never ever stayed in a worse place in a my travels. The hotel would not rate a half star let alone 5 star it is not fit for a dog to sleep in. The smell the dirt everything a out it was an absolute disgrace including the nasty staff. Giving Turkish people n bad name.

  Moved out 5* to this 5* both together not 2 star

  Got Moved here on 5th of our 14 day holiday as previous hotel worst than this one believe it or not bad move only good Think was the view if you got passed the demolition team there for 9 days and 6 days they banged drilled ripped things up welded you name it they done it No health n safety here its getting refurbed food was freezing cold joke disgusting only thing was they had drink for first 6 days then started running out replaced with crap gin even barman was embarrassed he took the drink off us when we questioned it but they got good stuff in 8/9 day but joke to dont cater for British people at all

  One week in Royal Arena

  This hotel has quite good location. Interior is a bit outdated, especially standard rooms. Beautiful beach with platform. Service is OK for the price. What is the best is the view from the pool - hotel is set up on the hill.
