Convenient access to the ladies gate 25The location of this hotel is great for the ladies that enters through gate 25 of the mosque. The hotel itself is of satisfactory standard. The food quality at the restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner is acceptable. I particularly admire the hardworking chef at the eggs counter that entertain the guests' request every morning during breakfast. The room is of reasonable size but some are smaller than the other depending on your bed preference (2 singles / 1 double). The hotel staff are pleasant and hospitable in general. This is my wife preferred hotel every time we are here due to the proximity of gate 25 and InsyaAllah we shall stay here again if ever we are back in this holy city.

Definitely worth it because of locationWe stayed for four nights. Rooms. Clean. Just adequate in size. Location. Exceptional especially if you are travelling with family. 5 min walk to gate 25 which is near the designated ladies prayer area. Breakfast. Quite a lot of variety and it does have some daily changes. Price. A little on expensive side. Cleanliness. Overall satisfactory but you have to push the housekeeping party occasionally. Overall. Good experience Will i stay here again.? Most definitely.

Lovely hotelWe had a pleasant stay at Rove. Having stayed at the Movenpick on a previous visit to Medina, we were warned that this hotel would be a major downgrade but this was certainly not the case. Staff were super friendly, check in/out smooth, all the necessities you expect from a hotel are available. Location is great. Walking distance to Haram gate 25/26 which is the designated prayer area for ladies. Room was clean, comes with mini fridge, toiletries, slippers, safe and more. Internet was fast and reliable. Daily room service was hit and miss. Staff needs to be given proper training on cleaning and maintaining the hotel. It could be that the staff had too much to do, but on some days they simply changed the bed linens / towels and emptied the bins without actually cleaning.

Visit to Madina PUBH mosqueWe stayed in Holiday villa madina based on our previous experience which not happen to be good this time. Over crowded with groups management was unable to manage the crowd of groups. Lifts were engaged during prayer time. Service staff were not trained even they dont have information about your check out and you find door knocked and they ask you at 10am in morning when you will leave. Parking was available this time. Overall not bad for the price u pay.

Satisfactory StayWe used to stay in this hotel when it was still called Holiday Villa. That wasn't a memorable trip. We came again during the National Day long weekend because it is now under a new management and the location is unsurpassed. Just minutes away from Gate 25 which is convenient for ladies. Check in and out were quick and hassle-free. The housekeeping trolley seemed to be parked permanently in front of our room even till evening. So it was convenient to ask for the housekeeper for help. Like when the TV refused to switch on. The housekeeper quickly came over and did his magic. However the first day's breakfast was marred by lack of chairs. Chairs were precious commodity guarded jealously lest somebody might just swipe them off. I guess it was the first day breakfast served ala buffet. Friends who stayed earlier said breakfast was sent to rooms. The second and third day breakfasts were better more organised. The selection was average but in ample quantities. Overall it was satisfactory and we enjoyed our stay in the holy city.
