  COVID Comfort !

  An amazing place to stay during these strange times - a wonderful location with breathtaking views and from the moment we made the booking we felt that Lisa and Keith had done their very best to make sure we felt COVID safe and comfortable . The paperwork was easy to understand but dealt with everything we needed to be aware of when we arrived . Our room had everything we needed including extras like complimentary drinks in the fridge and we didnt move for the first hour - we were so enjoying the views from the windows - the lovely beach from one side and the delightful harbour and Nothe Fort from the other . We had stopped at a hotel in the Midlands on the way down to Weymouth and having been served breakfast in a paper carrier bag containing supermarket muffins , yogurt, a dry croissant and a carton of orange juice we were wondering what the breakfast at the Roundhouse would be like ? What a really amazing surprise was in store ! Warm rolls or croissants , pigs in blankets , hard boiled eggs , cheese , freshly squeezed juice, fruit, homemade yoghurt and their delicious home made jams - all delivered to your room in a well presented basket - what more could we ask for ? Eating our breakfast whilst enjoying the view really put us in the holiday mood and even the weather was kind to us ! Lisa and Keith had supplied us with a sheet of suggestions for places to eat and visit and the whole experience made us forget COVID for a few days and we left feeling really relaxed , happy and healthy . Thank you Lisa and Keith for a wonderful holiday and cant wait for a return visit - hopefully very soon.

  Excellent COVID safe stay

  The Roundhouse was an excellent choice to stay at. We had an amazing time. With a beautiful view over the bay and the excellent modern facilities in the room which I will not list and spoil the surprise. I can quite honestly say that having come from the Imperial Hotel in Torquay the Roundhouse was exceptional and made the other hotel look very poor indeed. I will admit I was concerned about the breakfast being delivered to the door in a basket but that too was excellent and different every day. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay. It felt exceptionally COVID safe and I look forward to returning.

  Couldn't Fault It

  The Roundhouse is a tremendous place to stay. The location is superb, being situated at the meeting of Weymouth beach and the port. Look out from one of you bedroom windows and you see miles of sea and sand, look out of the other in your room and you see the coming and goings of the working port. Large car park 1 min walk away and street parking right outside. Loads of pubs and restaurants within 5 mins walk. Comfort and cleanliness are second to none but my personal highlight was the "breakfast box". Delivered to your room each day, there's a different variety of breads, croissant, hard boiled eggs, fruit, yoghurt, fresh fruits, sausages, home made jam - I could go on. If you do stay, make sure to check out the plaque on the wall outside showing a photo of American GI's queing to get onto the boats for D-Day. Their initials scratch onto the brickwork with their bayonets can still be seen. All very poignant.

  Fabulous Guest Hotel

  Wonderful folks running excellent guest house. Loved that our room had views of both seafront and harbour entry. Pretty decorations and attention to detail in room made an enjoyable experience. Morning breakfast baskets were delicious, homemade & a wee surprise daily. Covid protocols all in place too.

  Wonderful stay

  The Roundhouse is probably the best B&B we have stayed in. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The complimentary drinks in the fridge was a lovely touch. We felt very covid secure with all the measures they have put in place. My favourite thing was the breakfast basket left outside the room each morning, every one was delicious and to be able to eat it while looking out over the beach was an added bonus. We would highly recommend this delightful B&B.
