  Very good value, but quite far from the freeway

  We booked this place as a stopover on the way through Germany - it's nice to avoid the usually overpriced autobahn motels which can be booked out in high summer. It is a bit dated, but very clean and tidy, good sized rooms with friendly and approachable staff (with good English). Plenty of off street parking. Downsides would be the fairly basic (although completely adequate) breakfast and distance from the freeway (about 15 minutes). Overall though, very good value.

  Good smaller, local hotel

  Had a good stay here, clean and pleasant place. Breakfast was a standard german breakfast. Had supper there and they had a good crowd of local people. It is not really an italian place, it was more german fare with some pizza and a few pasta dishes. There are a few other dishes with an Italian twist such as baked goat cheese with tomatoes and basil.

  Very comfortable.

  Nice large room and bathroom, very comfortable stay. Room was a bit cold, even with the heater on. Breakfast was included in the price and free WiFi was quite good for a small hotel. Parking Available.

  great for relaxation

  great hotel and great staff... rooms are clean and quiet. the hotel is located at the superb of the city Gottingen. it is great for relaxation. the restaurant is the best in the area. it is kind of family operated hotel. special thanks to the owner-manager "Ina-Maria". for the good hospitality, services and help she provided to us. recommend this hotel for couples need to relax and runaway from city disturbance. trendy

  More than a B&B

  This B&B not only has a restaurant and a place to have breakfast but also offers bowling and sauna! What is even more is that the hostess speaks not only German but English and French (as does the menus for the restaurant). The B&B is situated away from the noise (highway) so it was very peaceful. The room was small (#9 for 3 persons) but cozy and beds were comfortable and came equipped with its own washroom. Breakfast is served at 6:30 early except Sundays 8:00 (unless you are very lucky and the DB workers are there. In this case she makes arrangements for breakfast for them) I would definitely recommend this little gem found on the outskirts of Northeim
