  very friendly landlady and very good service!

  my family stayed at rosemary hotel for 2 nights. the landlady was like a gramma to us, and she was very meticulous in her service! noting every little detail, and making sure we had a comfortable stay. the hospitality at this hotel is really great! however the gramma only speaks jap with very limited eng, however she was very friendly and communication was not much of a problem, as she attended very well to our needs. there is an indoor onsen in the hotel as well. its a small and cosy minshuku/hotel, and they will put your name outside your room door. the food was fantastic as well! we had crabs and oysters for dinner. the dinning is a hidden gem with many antiques and collectables placed around! we stayed in the jap style room and the futons were comfortable, though the pillows were made from small pebbles (which were a bit hard to sleep on). the location is about a 10mins walk from ibusuki JR station, you can also walk down to the sand baths in about 20mins, its a straight walk down once you hit the main road right next to the sea. we sent the gramma a photo that we took tghr with her and they sent us a new year card to our home country!
