So are the staff very rude. The owner knows everyone is complaining about stone cold food and he could nt care less.... All inclusive is a joke you can only have beer wine doft drinks crappy brandy and ouzo ...Thats it.. cant fill bottle up of water you have to buy it .diet drinks you also have to buy. On a positive note lovely beach sea amazing fab island but rubbish hotel. Will return to Kos but never this hotel

Faulty Towers at its best!!!Pdescription is disgusting Boiled eggs, scrambled eggs and fried eggs, soggy mushrooms, beans, cereal (bland) selection of cakes, stale breads, yoghurt, jam and honey every single day. You always knew what was going to be in the square egg shaped omelette slices for breakfast by what you ate for your evening meal like the peas and carrots but I have to say I jokingly mentioned to my husband that the one evening there were fries that they may end up in the omelette! This is where I drew the line Im afraid, they were blended on to the top of the omelette for breakfast (see picture) For half board you were allowed a hot drink on a morning for breakfast or juice, evening meal you could have water but anything else you had to go outside to the bar. The staff watched you like hawks, not sure if they thought anyone was going to sneak food out but I really dont believe anyone would want to! My mum balked every morning at breakfast and we just felt physically sick at the thought of it. The guy with the white beard spent all his time rudely telling people off for walking the wrong way around the food counter and constantly stirring the food. The chef spent his day sitting around the bar and walking around the grounds with his uniform on. From all the other reviews I have read I notice the hotel management dont like the truth and when it comes to the food it seems to be a common response that all the other guests ate it so I would like to say to the management before your rude response comes People have to eat, they have paid to eat weather half board or all inclusive so they have no choice if they dont have spare money to go out and eat elsewhere! I have stayed in many 3 star hotels which have been beautiful with amazing food, sadly this is not one of them. We paid 25 to keep one of rooms on until 6pm as we were not getting picked up until 10pm We had breakfast and that was it until we got to the airport, ours bands were removed at 12 and I was told we were not entitled to an evening meal because we had the the stale bread, cheese etc on arrival! Dont know what would have been worst to be honest, having the cold plate on arrival or an evening meal before we left, we were just past it all by that point. The hotel has much potential with a little revamp and a new chef! The dining area would be closed down by officials in the UK and given a zero rating. We never complained whilst we were there because there was very little point as the staff just become aggressive which we witnessed with other hotel guests, we just went about our business and went out a lot! So all in all if you are looking for a clean pool, clean rooms and a short walk to the beach at a reasonable cost then this is the place to be but for the love of god book room only and eat out everyday. We will not return here.

WowI just feel I have to respond to some of the outrageous reviews and comments that have been left on this website obviously these people are inexperienced travellers that do not review the small print when booking a holiday Ive been three times to this hotel this year 2020 will be my fourth home cooked Greek food fresh lovely surroundings excellent pool fantastic beach not far from the hotel walk after all the food you eat excercise it off ! This is someones business youre all running down and ambrose and family do not deserve it

Cant wait to returnI have just booked my return visit to Roselands, and looking forward to my next, peaceful, relaxing break here next May. I cannot understand why other reviewers complain so bitterly. Yes, it is quiet, as described within the hotel description. Read it. Yes, they charge tourist tax. Its the law. No, they do not want you filling your germ filled water bottles directly out of the dispenser. Neither do I. Buy water, it isnt expensive. Food is fine. Not brilliant, but good for the price. If you want better, go elsewhere, and pay a lot more. Pool area superbly clean and well kept. Rooms cleaned regularly. Internet only works in the reception area, exactly as described by the hotel. Sorry to all little Englanders, but yes, other nationalities holiday here too. So if you hear Russian, Italian, French people talking and having fun.....get over it. Some people expect everything, but want to pay a minimum. Life isnt like that......for what you will pay to stay here, you will get great value. Ignore all of the poor reviews, trust me.

Absolutely awfullI stayed at the Roselands in September last year I have never been to a hell hole like it the manager is watching you at meal times if you like living off melon for a week because the food is so bad and Im not fussy as me and my partner had to spend outside in restaurants about 800 euros because the food was inedible The manager was having a go at everyone the guest look like they were scared it was more like a boot camp , and also what annoys me is the Roselands post on Trip advisor and pretend to be a holiday maker saying that the hotel is wonderful ( listen your writing the reviews yourself do you think we are stupid ) The only thing about the hotel was the pool thats it ,The all inclusive was the drinks out of paper cups , Breakfast the bread was stale all my partner and me could eat was melon , Kos was beautiful and thank god it is because the manager of the Roselands has a goldmine of a hotel (Only if he sold it to a hotelier who new what he was doing ,I cant believe that the manager was so aggresive that it would not have taken much for him to throw people of the hotel for nothing , I booked the Roselands last minute but next time I will book 5star , The beds were like rock we arrived at 10pm the guy behind the desk looked so miserable that he looked like someone died in the Family ( if anyone is thinking of going to the Roselands do it at your own Peril !!
