  Great end to our holiday

  My teenage daughters and I had just completed a wonderful cruise and needed a night stay in Durban before flying home to Johannesburg the following day. Roseland was a great choice. The room was a perfect 3 sleeper with a view and next to a woodland so we were warned about the chance of a naughty monkey taking chances with food. The air con was a great relief and the bedroom and bathroom were both perfect. We didn't have transport so were ordered an uber to the shopping centre Pavillion- which had all restaurants and supermarkets etc. We chose to eat supper at the restaurant and then go back but we could have used the kitchen at the guesthouse main facility if we had bought food items. The morning breakfast was served overlooking the pool and was a good selection - our host was friendly and full of local information.

  Cosy and comfortable as usual

  This is my second visit to the property. It situated at Glenwood on a slope in a quiet residential area. Rooms are spacious and well decorated with relaxing ambience and fitted with old but stylish furniture and well looked after. Every room has its unique style and outlook, but all are comfortable and very clean. There's a private ensuite toilet and shower. Kettle with daily coffee and tea. One piece of chocolate and biscuit daily. Breakfast is fabulous and quite filling. Basically, eggs to your choice, cereals, yougort, fruits and muffins. The property landscape with swimming pools and gardens are very relaxing. Darren and Delia keep are running the place and take care of everything. They help with arranging taxis and food delivery. They even arranged for my laundry to be ironed by their housekeeping staff. Internet is available allover the property with acceptable speed. Nearby shopping area and dining places. Area seems safe. Before sunset, you can observe the returning peaceful little monkeys to their trees nearby. Mosquitoes might be a problem, but easily tackled by the repellent supplied and some insecticide spray if needed. There's a communal fridge in the kitchen, where guests can use. I am very happy about my stay.

  Great Little Guesthouse, well maintained, clean, friendly staff and very hospitable hosts.Nondu did a great job to accommodate us, especially as we had been waiting for our client for the arrangements.will definitely be using Roseland again

  Peaceful Gem

  I really enjoyed the peace and quiet. The room was as expected. Exactly what you see in the pictures advertised. The breakfast was delicious. Thank you Kwanda and Nondu for your amazing hospitality. Hope to come back in the near future!

  A pleasant and tranquil stay!

  My stay was pleasant and peaceful. The accommodation provided for my needs which included the much needed Wi-Fi for work related matters and the air conditioned room. Rooms were clean with the bedding changed daily. The location was excellent and close to amenities. The parking facilities were good and well secured. Service was excellent. The rates were also reasonable.
