  Not clean, or not as clean as I wished it would be.

  The mansion is grand, beautiful and old. When we pulled into the driveway the lights were off and it felt morbid in a way. We had to call to confirm that it's the place and she's expecting us. Holli, the host, was nice, but she did mention twice that i thought you'd be here at 7 not 5. We never specified the time. And the check in is at 4.. She greeted us. Took us to our room. Told us that she'd be out for the night, asked what time we wanted breakfast and that was it. we were the only people there for that night. We stayed in the parker room, but peeked in other rooms. They're all beautiful and huge. All have your own private bath. Our room was nice but it did not feel or look clean, there was dog hair everywhere. And I'm allergic to pets and dust. So i felt it right away. There was a bottle on the colonnade of our bed. Just laying there. So that tells you that the room hasn't been cleaned. The shower was relatively clean. The toilet could've been cleaner. And the whole room felt very very dusty. We did not sleep in the bed as the sheets didn't look clean. We took the two throw on blankets and slept on top of the bedding, in our clothes. Not even in pj's cause it didn't feel clean. There was coffee upstairs and lots of books about castles and such. Everything is old to fit the style of the house which was built in 1905. In the morning. We woke up for breakfast but we didn't come out at 9 sharp as we didn't know if it was appropriate. After we came out and greeted her. She didn't say if the breakfast was ready, we had some small talk. She let the dog in fron outside as it started to snow. So we went back into our room. After 10 min she came and asked if we're ready for breakfast. That was about 9:40 am. The breakfast was good. Holli told us a bit about the house during breakfast.

  Wonderful

  I still dream.of the view from our room over the Lawns. We enjoyed the historic building and decor. The breakfast was splendid. We recommend this B&B and found it not far at all from the downtown. The road takes you straight into town.

  Perfect

  Loved our stay at Rosedell B and B. The location, room, decor, bed and breakfast were excellent. Friendly dog who doesn't enter B and B part of house. Close, very good restaurants. Would gladly return.

  Cozy, charming, quiet

  My boyfriend and I had a great stay here when we were in Yakima recently for a wedding. Rosedell has all the charms of a historic home but with modern amenities (good water pressure, outlets, etc.) Our room was so spacious; it even had a small outdoor terrace. Breakfast every morning was delicious and the perfect way to start the day. Holli took great care of everything and was flexible with our breakfast timing and other plans. Would definitely recommend this place!

  Wonderful, Clean, Historical

  My husband surprised me by taking me here for my birthday! I loved bed and breakfast places and I had not heard of the Rosedell so it was a huge surprise! This place was wonderful! It was very clean and the host was incredibly accommodating and kind. We stayed in the Parker Room, which is on the first floor of the home. It was incredibly spacious and gorgeous! The bed was very comfortable and was a beautiful, wooden four poster bed. There was a sitting area with a couch and other comfortable seating and a television. The bathroom was also very nice, clean, and had all the amenities you would need! The breakfast in the morning was superb. Our host made us eggs Benedict, no easy task! It was amazing!! I highly recommend this charming B&B!
