  Just the job!

  A fine B&B. Gillian is a superb host, my room and en suite were tidy and clean, the bed was nice and comfy, and the breakfast was delicious! Parking wasn't a problem, either. I'd very happily stay there again.

  was due to stay at the Almar but they had a water mishap so our room was out of action, they kindly found us another B &B a few doors away . My Wife and I couldn't have been more pleased , had a lovely one night stay , was met at the door by Gillian a very pleasant lady who was very helpful with all the information we needed about our stay and the local area, showed us to our room which was very spacious lovely big super king bed , big TV , onsuite and Tea making equipment with all the essentials. Had a great nights sleep and a Fantastic Breakfast in the morning. would definitely stay again.

  Anniversary night away

  Didnt originally book to stay here but when we turned up at our hotel was told there was a problem so got sent over the road to the rose dene Gillian was vet welcoming and showed us our room it was very clean and tidy and breakfast was lovely and fresh the next day would definitely stay here again

  Great stay

  Just had a two night break at rose dene , lovely room , really comfy large bed, very clean. Gillian makes you feel right at home and serves up a delicious breakfast. Guest house is within walking distance of all amenities . Would definitely return .

  Fantastic Hosts and Lovely Stay

  We have just checked out from Rose Dene from a 2 night stay and a quick break away from work. On arrival we where greeted by Gillian and Micheal with details of what we needed to do Covid wise and also details of breakfast. Our room on the first floor was a good size and spotlessly clean. King sized double bed with a super comfy mattress and crisp white sheets. Tea and coffee facilities provided - Ringtons coffee bags where a lovely touch much better than the usual nastcafe you see in most places these days. The en-suite was on the small side But again spotless and a power shower that could take the barnacles off a ships hull. Breakfast on both mornings with Superb great quality ingredients and proper butter !! We had a lovely time and wouldnt hesitate to stay again. !
