Delicious food with a viewFirst off, let me start by saying that you should definitely book half board for your stay, as the food is really outstanding and a great value at just 10 euros a night. It's a four course meal with three options for your second, main, and dessert. The roast rabbit was one of my favorite meals of all time. There was also a live musician one of the nights, and we had a good time at the show. The location was great considering it was just 200 meters or so from a lift, and also just ini front of the ski bus stop, as well as the airport bus stop from Venice and Milano. We did not rent a car, and this was absolutely OK. The rooms are all wooden inside, and our view was really great, out over the mountains and ski slopes. Breakfast was OK, but since it was the same every morning, it got tiring. The panacotta was often stale. Ludvigo, the owner was pretty cool about things. There was a leak in our toilet that kept us awake the first night. He had the problem fixed when we got back the next day. The rooms are perhaps a bit worn down, and the walls are a bit thin, so one night we did hear a TV blaring. Other than that, it was a great stay. Ski room was large, and the sauna was a nice treat after skiing. All in all, I think it was a very good stay, and I would come here again. If you demand luxury, and 4 or 5 star room, this place won't do. If you're looking for a great value, good views, and excellent food, this is the place.
