  Amazing Holiday Experience

  This was my second time at Rooms Karla in Polace, Mljet, and I will come again. Comfortable and clean rooms (TV, wi-fi), in the natural surrounding of this beautiful island. Beach is at the door step, with pristine clean waters. Ana and her family friendly and always there happy to help and accommodate. You can hang around, go to a nearby village for a drink or meal, or explore endless bays and villages on the island. Thank you Rooms Karla, I cannot wait to come again!

  Very welcoming!

  We stayed two nights at Rooms Karla. Clean, friendly and beautiful gardens. Room was comfortable with balcony. We were surprised with an evening treat, homemade crepes! Highly recommend! The only place we will stay on Mjlet!

  Pa-ra-dise

  Rooms Karla is located on the beautiful island of Mljet. This little paradise really has everything to make you feel completely at ease. The rooms are really clean, have a wonderful view and are situated right at the beach. There is a beach bar and they serve wonderful food (but you have to make a reservation in advance). To make everything complete, the staff is really friendly and very helpful!

  A perfect base for access to the lakes in the National Park

  We initially booked our room for four nights but decided to extend our stay by three nights, because we liked the location so much. It was a lovely spot. We were very comfortable in our accommodation and dined regularly at the adjoining restaurant. We were also a very short walk from the Roman ruins, the bakery, supermarket, a string of restaurants, and the beach. Numerous boat tours operate from Polacé, and there is also a local shuttle bus into Mljet National Park, where were confident enough to hire bicycles and cycle around the lake. We also walked the pathway to the summit of Monte Ku on the recommendation of the family from which we rented our room! Appreciated. What we saw of Mljet is stunningly beautiful, and we hope to return in the future.

  Huge room with a lovely balcony

  Rooms Karla is located just outside the little village of Polace. It is a 3-min walk to the Supermarket and the baker and 2 mins to the little beach. My room was huge, with a lovely balcony which had a sea view. The lovely owners couldn't do enough for me, bless them! A real home-from-home.
