  wonderful experience

  Everything was perfect! We loved the artistic decor, courtesy of the owner, his wife and his daughter Carla. The room had everything we needed .We had a breakfast before heading out for the day and it was OK. The beds were comfy and the room was very quiet - we slept well! The hotel is in an good location , near the center of Forio (10 mins by walk) .It is possible to book the shuttle to go to the beach(5 mins by shuttle). By the way we stayed in the swimming pool the first day and it was very nice. Would go back in a second.

  I recently stayed with my husband and our son in this very beautiful resort . I do not come often to Ischia and I always got to Ischia Porto hotels . I was really impressed . Pleasant location in traditional masonry white , fresh , garden full of greenery and well-kept , hearty breakfast in the shaded patio , spacious rooms , comfortable and tastefully decorated . Much attention also in architectural finishes , staff attentive , helpful ,, friendly , great commitment of managers , real friends . Multi-colored pool and relaxing at night . Everything looked after us . The hotel is a short distance from the port of Forio and has a shuttle service ; from there you can reach some of the most famous places of the island . A stay t you will not forget!

  Pure Bliss! Fantastic stay

  My Girlfriend and I spent a week here after a hectic year. We came in search of relaxation, tranquility and comfort. What we found surpassed our expectations. Upon arrival we were greeted with a friendly smile and met the main man Eduardo who gave us a tour of his beautiful complex. We then set about enjoying every inch of the place. The gardens are tranquil and have wonderful seating areas and the ultimate hanging chair for chilling out. The pool is a good temperature to cool off and escape the heat. The room is simple but effective, the shower had good pressure and the water was always hot, the room temperature was spot on and could be controlled by a super quiet AC, there is a fridge fully stocked with the essentials, water, minerals, beer and prosecco. The bed was a 9/10 for comfort, extra pillows if needed. The staff are very friendly and they keep the place in tip top condition. It was always clean and the garden kept perfect. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a place to relax and unwind. We will definitely be back!

  A really great place

  We stayed at Romildanna Relais for 8 nights in July and had a really great time there! The place is breathtakingly beautiful, very peaceful and quiet. Our room was spacious, beautiful and very clean. The beauty products in the bathroom were few, but ok. The bed was comfortable and waking up with the view of a green garden and the Mediterranean Sea in the background was just great! The pool is really nice and we spent most of the time there just enjoying the sun. All the staff of Romildanna Relais was really friendly and welcoming and we felt almost at home there. Eduardo, the host, even surprised us with two delizie al limone because we told him how much we liked this typical cake. That was another highlight during our wonderful stay there. The only downside is that without a car it is not easy to move around on the island, but you can always rent one or just go by foot (15 minutes to Chitara and circa 20 minutes to Forio port). All together we can only recommend Romildanna Relais!

  Perfect place to stay on Ischia

  Just had the most perfect few days to start our holiday staying at Romildanna. After the craziness of Naples, a quick hop on the boat and a taxi later and we were in paradise! We had the suite which was perfect for us with the kids with us. The whole place was immaculate all the time, from the pool to the social area to the rooms. Stephano & the team clearly work very hard to keep it looking so beautiful. Breakfast was lovely and the pool was perfect for cooling off. Eduardo was very welcoming and organised bus & cruise tickets for us too. Will definitely come back some day - hopefully for longer to see more of the island.
